  • December 1, 2024: Advent - God Doesn't Choose Perfect People

As we enter the Advent season, we reflect on the incredible story of Jesus Christ—a Savior who stepped into humanity's brokenness to bring redemption. In this message, Pastor David explores the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew 1, a seemingly tedious list of names that reveals a profound truth: God uses messy, flawed individuals to accomplish His perfect plan.

From Tamar and Rahab to Ruth and Bathsheba, the lineage of Christ is filled with stories of scandal and redemption, shame and grace. Matthew’s genealogy reminds us that God doesn’t require perfection; He redeems imperfection. And in Joseph’s story of obedience, we see the heart of the gospel: Jesus entered our shame to transform it into salvation.

  • November 17, 2024: Missions - A Biblical Theology of Mission

Today’s message is a powerful reminder of God’s unfolding story—a story that began in Genesis and continues until the return of Jesus. Bob Mendelsohn takes us on a journey through Scripture, highlighting God’s heart for the nations and His call for each of us to participate in His mission.

From Abraham’s call to be a blessing to all nations (Genesis 12:1-3) to the ultimate vision of every tribe, tongue, and nation worshiping God together in Revelation 5:9-10, this message challenges us to see our role in God’s grand narrative of love and redemption.
Whether through prayer, giving, or stepping into the mission field, we are all invited to be part of this incredible story. Let’s recommit ourselves to God’s mission and boldly proclaim the gospel to every corner of the earth.
