Everyone spends eternity somewhere. Jesus said for those who believe in him (who have placed their trust in him and follow him), they will not face eternal punishment but they will have eternal life. And how can we know that’s true? We know this is true because three days after Jesus died on the cross, he walked out of the grave!

There are many who are happy to celebrate Jesus as long as He does what pleases them. As long as He answers “yes” to all their prayers. But Jesus wants you to submit to Him as your king. Are you submitted to King Jesus and living your life to please Him? What areas of your life need to be submitted to Him? Your work? Relationships? Family? Jesus is King. He is the long awaited king. Is He your King?

Jesus came to us. He took the first step. He went to a cross. He bore all your sin. In that moment he was proving his love for you. He was pouring out hope for you and me!

Do you feel trapped in your sin and exhausted from concealing it? Will you confess that to Jesus today? Jesus does not run from a sinful heart, but draws near and is drawing near to you today!
