On this first episode on our Salvation series, we talk about the Gospel, the Good News - Jesus Christ and Him Crucified. You are loved, you are cherished, God created you; brokenness separated and separates us from God and each other; Jesus, God, became man and died to save, purchase, and redeem you; He calls us to repent and believe in the Gospel; be baptized and receive the Holy Spirit to live a transformed life in Christ, to truly become Christians; we live in His Body, the Church; and He sends us out on His same mission to proclaim liberty to captive, to set them free and to proclaim the Good News. We find in Jesus, the reality of our sin and the greatness of God's love for you. The Gospel is a royal decree of the true King, that our God reigns. Jesus is King, Head, and Bridegroom, and we cannot separate the King from His Kingdom, the Head from His Body, or the Bridegroom from His Bride, which is the Church. "Jesus, King of the Jews" - remember God's love story that is fulfilled in Jesus and His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Church. God is faithful. He is with you. He is for you. You are worth fighting for. You are worth dying for. You are eternally loved.

A.M.W. - Always More Wednesday. On the feast of Annunciation of the Lord, we talk about religions and spirituality without divine revelation that leads to chaos and relativity from man impressing their desires on God. Whereas the Judeo-Christian message is the exact opposite - it's God's reaching and revelation to man. Acts 17:23-24 - "For as I passed along, and observed the objects of your worship, I found an altar with an inscription, 'To an unknown God.' What therefore you worship as unknown, this I proclaim to you"... The God who made the world revealed Himself in His Son Jesus in the fullness of time to die and rise for you to give you the Holy Spirit and to live in His One, Holy, Catholic, and Apostolic Family.

A.M.W. - Always More Wednesday. This was recorded for Ash Wednesday, but though it would be helpful before Lent begins! On Ash Wednesday, we enter into a time of penance. It's really more of an opportunity to unite even closer to our Lord who told us to pray, fast, and give alms. Why does He tell us to do that? It's precisely what He did in His temptations in the desert, and with Him we renounce the 3 temptations of the first fall - lust of the eyes, lust of the flesh, and pride. Let's grow in pure love, become only attached to God, and become humble as Jesus did.
