Titus 3- Paul gives us insight on how Christians relate to the government and greater society. How can we change our world? The Gospel is displayed through our lives in our mundane, everyday lives in such a way that it can bring great change to our world.

In Titus 2 we see some challenging verses that inform how the Gospel shapes our understanding of gender roles. This being a critical part of God's plan and pattern for discipleship among the generations of God's people in a given community.

The greatest threat to churches and Christians are not from outsiders but from insiders. How do we deal with the deception of those spread false teaching in churches.

This Message focuses on the need for Formative and Corrective Discipline in the Home as children are raised with an understanding of their need for Jesus. All law (moralism) is not healthy, all love (unrestrained freedom) in not healthy either. We need to learn how to effectively use the Word of God both formatively and correctivly to help our children understand who God is, what he has done, and our need/response to Jesus work on the Cross (repentence and faith).

The greatest concern for any Christian parent should be, how can I foster in my children an authentic relationship with Jesus. The Bible gives some clear teaching on how to Shepherd your home and it was first given to the nation of Israel about 3,400 years ago. God has laid out a plan for illuminating Jesus to the world. Jesus is most clearly visible as the Gospel works out in the life of the Church and Home. Titus 1:5-9 gives us some clear guidelines for the expectations of a Pastor's home life. These are the standards for the leadership and the people. We have a limited amount of time to pour into our kids lives so we better make the most of the fleeting years.

Many people have an opinion on what is wrong with the church and families today. In fact I often here people say today they are against institutional religion, and others who want to redefine what a family should look like. However, what does that even mean? It turns out, having an opinion is easy, but what about a solution? What if you were dropped in a new community of young believers, and were given the responsibility of establishing a healthy church with healthy homes? What would you do? Not to add any pressure, but these happen to be the most important two institutions God ever established. He has chosen to display himself through these 2 groups in a way in which the world will rise and fall based upon the success and failure of these institutions. In Matthew 24:1-14, Jesus begins to answer his disciples question as to when the Temple will be destroyd an te en will cme. Jesus gives a series of Warnings, 2 Instructions to His followers and a Promise.

Jesus is confronted with a choose, to deny or support the Roman Empires Taxation of God's People. How does a Christian deal with Taxation and loyalty to a government, especially when they feel the government is unjust? Matt 22

In the Parable of the Vineyard, Jesus reveals how the Israel belonged to the his Father. As they rejected Jesus, they were rejecting the Father. The question for us is what is the foundation of our lives. What do we live for, our vineyard, or God's?
