Our culture is more committed to discussing sex more than the church. We have saved people, in the church, living like they are unsaved. We, as believers, need to recognize the severity of sexual promiscuity and the consequences it may bring. If you won’t learn from the Bible about sexual sin, Jesus may take his hand off you and let satan teach you.

This Sunday we continue our series Destined on the life of Samson. Pastor Blake teaches from Judges 16 on how Samson's finally revealed his weakness. Samson's weakness wasn't in his hair but in his lust and bad decision making. This time Samson made a bad decision and the Lord left him. He was then captured by the enemy as a way of discipline; but God still had a plan for him.

We continue our series on the book of 1 Corinthians called Christ or Culture. This week Pastor Blake teaches from 1 Corinthians 5:1-13 about how a man was so lost in sexual immorality he was sleeping with his stepmother. The passage speaks to how believers should conduct themselves sexuality and how they should not be influenced by the culture in this area.

Instead of focusing on what has called him to do Samson continued to compromise and straddle the fence between his purpose and his selfish pleasure. This time Samson's compromise came in the form on Delilah and was the continuation of his downfall.

When we live in denial and run from destiny, God has destiny hunt us down. What has God put on your heart to do, but you continue to try and run away from it? What are you afraid of? God did not give us the spirit of fear. If God called you to it, he will bring you through it.
