Luke 12:35-48 Have you ever found yourself unprepared? Perhaps it was arriving to work on time or getting prepared to leave for vacation. However, these things will pale in comparison to what is coming - Jesus is coming. Are you ready? We ponder that question this week as we continue our study in the gospel of Luke.

Gen 22:1-19 If you are a father and you have a son there is no doubt you can see the special relationship that exists between a father and a son. You likely would be willing to give your life for your son a thousand times over if his life was in jeopardy. So, as we look at the account of Abraham and his son Isaac, we begin to understand the great cost that was involved there. God stopped that sacrifice, but there would be a day when God's own Son would step into that place and there would be no rescue for Him. God sacrificed His own Son for you, and for me. Listen this week as we consider the Lamb of God.

2 Tim 1:1-7 Mothers sure do alot for their families. We could think of their work around the home, their care for their family, etc. However, Christian mothers have something far greater to give to their children. They can give the gift of Christ. When you think about it though, God has given that responsibility to all of us. So, how are you giving Christ to your family? And what about your church family? Listen this week as we consider how God wants us to share our faith with the next generation.

Luke 12:22-34 If you or a loved one has struggled with anxiety, this week's message will be a tremendous help to you. Last week we learned about the foolishness of riches. The Lord has so much wisdom. Think about that this week as He instructs us about the cure for anxiety. He was not unaware of the mental and emotional challenges that plague many of us. It might seem uncompassionate to hear the words, "stop worrying," but that's exactly what Jesus said. Let's look this week at why that was the kindest thing He could say to us, and why it is true.

Luke 12:13-21 How do you think about money? Do you live and breathe to buy new things? Are you content? Or are you perhaps averse to any kind of possessions that exceed the absolute essentials? You might be asking yourself, "what would Jesus say about how I handle my money?" We look at that question this week.

Acts 2:22-39 We've all probably witnessed hopeless events before. You might think of a losing football team, a foregone trial, etc. Sometimes in a moment everything can change and it can shock everyone. We might something like, "it's not over til it's over!" This is exactly what happened after Jesus died. On the third day He would rise claiming victory over death! So, what does that mean for you and I? Listen as we consider that question on this resurrection Sunday.

Mark 11:1-11 It's interesting how this day is called Palm Sunday. The palm is probably the least important element of the account we have in Mark 11. However, it does remind us of the kingship of Jesus. So, why are they treating Him like a king? And was He truly a king? Have you ever thought about what that means for your life? Pastor Sam answers those questions this week.

Luke 12:1-12 Last week we looked at the danger of hypocrisy and what it means for us spiritually. What are we to do to cure religious hypocrisy? This week we consider how Jesus answered that question.

Luke 11:33-54 You're probably heard people say things like, "I don't go to church because it is full of hypocrites." There can certainly be some truth to that. In some ways we all fail to be everything that we hope to be. However, Jesus had to address something worse than that. What would He say to someone who is claiming to be something that they are not? Find out this week as we hear how Jesus addresses hypocrisy.

Luke 11:29-32 Have you ever heard someone say something like, "I'm not as bad as ____" and you can fill in the blank. We tend to compare ourselves to people that are worse than us and think that we are not so bad. People in Jesus' day did the same thing. Wonder what Jesus had to say to them? Listen this week as we consider Jesus' words to His generation.
