Grace Changes Everything- Pastor Brett Cushing

Looking at grace from the standpoint that grace changes everything.  Specifically, that grace is what fuels real life transformation.  The message compares and contrasts the different types of remorse between Judas and Peter.  Both exhibited remorse, but Judas’ remorse lead him to make up for his behavior through his own behavior which lead to death; whereas Peter’s remorse left him realizing there is nothing he could do to make up for his behavior, and this lead him to trust in the behavior of his Savior. 

Our behavior can never be reliable as a savior, nor is it our real failure.  Our behaviors can look very godly on the surface, but if not undergirded in the belief in the grace of God, it will not save, but lead to death.  However, right beliefs in God’s grace through Jesus Christ, will bring real rest, leave no regret, result in real repentance, regeneration and receive God’s love.
