By faith Isaac invoked future blessings on Jacob and Esau.

Faith in God is demonstrated by obedience to God.

By Faith, Abraham obeyed when he was called to go out to a place that he was to receive an inheritance. By faith Sarah herself received the power to conceive, even when she was past the age, since she considered him faithful who had promised.

We described faith as Responding actively and appropriately to God, His Story and the Gospel offered to us. 

It was by Faith that Enoch was translated (taken to be with God).

It was by Faith that he walked with God (was well pleasing to God).

Our faith will result in our Salvation - where we end up when our time on this earth is over.

Our faith does result in our Transformation - how we live our lives in the here and now.

HEBREWS 11:1

Faith is..the assurance of things hoped for, the conviction of things hot seen. 

Faith - and expressing our faith - is rooted and established in something outside of ourselves. It grows stronger as it is exercised and practiced. 

The difference between being RELIGIOUSLY faithful and RELATIONALLY faithful.

Limited by seconds, hours, days, months and years.

God is boundless - not limited by the confines of time.

God’s timing is perfect because God is perfect and sees the whole picture.
