August 23, 2016Ephesians (8/21/2016)In the body of Christ, each member has a purpose. The Spirit of God has so blessed each person to be a blessing to another person. The task is figuring out how to be that blessing. Where some might argue that the basic need is just to treat people how they deserve, the follower of Christ seeks to treat others based on how they have been treated by Christ. This week, Pastor Butler speaks to us about the role of our own gifts in uniting the body of Christ to shine His love in the world. Join us Sunday mornings at 9:00 and 10:30 am for worship in our Main Sanctuary (9:00/10:30) and the South Building (10:30). Visit us at www.crosspointe.tv CrossPointe....more0minPlay

August 14, 2016Gifts (Ephesians 4:7-16)Not everyone knows how to give a gift. We struggle with whether or not we know someone well enough to be able to give a gift that will truly be useful to the person. Gifts can be difficult for us to receive, because we aren’t entirely sure we will make the most of it to honor the person who gave it to us. In some cases, we don’t even consider the gift at all. To the follower of Christ, Jesus has given gifts that fit the need of the person and the needs of others in Christ as well. Join us this week as Pastor Butler continues walking with us through Ephesians and speaks to us about our “gifts” in the body of Christ.
