A shield is a defensive weapon of protection, but it only works if one hides behind it.  The Bible says God is a shield.  Joseph shows us how we can receive God's protection, by listening, trusting, and obeying God's Word and warning. 

Be a wise guy, respond to Jesus like the Magi. ​

​Hope is hard, but Jesus is here with us.  He knows what it's like to live here and He will keep His promises.  Hoping is hard sometimes, but it's worth it!

Unlike us, Jesus had the privilege of choosing His family members. Who He chooses gives us a whole lot of hope! Hope is here in Matthew 1:1-17.

Peter lovingly reminds us of God's promises, His patience, and our position in Christ.  Let us continue to stir up one another remembering these things as opposed to scoffing at them.
