The Closing song this week is King of Kings by Hillsong Music
Week 05 BlessingAs you leave this place, log off your computer or turn off your podcast,
May you hear the invitation of God to be a person of encounter and worship.
May you experience your own epiphany in the spaces where fear has settled.
May that divine encounter bring you to a place of worshiping Jesus and finding another way home.
And may 2022 be filled with the power of God’s love at work in you and through you.
May you take a cup of kindness to those thirsty from the disappointments and hurts of life.
And in those moments may you be the epiphany of Jesus so desperately needed.
Now we, Crossroads Church, offer our everyday, normal lives in worship,
Longing to encounter the one who is able to do exceedingly and abundantly more
Than we could ever ask or imagine.
Amen
Welcome to the podcast and Christmas! It's the day after Christmas and we hope you had a great one!
The Weekly Blessing:May God bless you and keep you in the light of love this week.
As you drive around may your eyes see the lights of Christmas with new appreciation.
May you see the power in those lights to turn darkness into something beautiful.
And as you see the lights and consider their power,
May you find the strength and courage to be the light of love in someone’s darkness this week.
And for those of us who feel as though we are sitting in a deep darkness right now,
May you see a great light this Christmas season.
And for those of us right now dwelling in a land overshadowed by death,
May a light rise on us like the dawn breaking through.
And may we all have the faith to believe that the light of life has come,
And that this light lives in us and shines through us every day of our lives.
Amen.

This week's closing song is Everlasting Light
The Blessing:
As you enter into the final week before the Christmas celebration,
May God bless you with a quiet moment or two where you can ponder in your heart,
“What does it mean to claim that Jesus was born of a virgin?”
May God bless us with eyes to see where Jesus still needs to be exalted as king of kings and lord of lords
Not only in our individual lives but also in our churches, our neighborhoods, and our world at large.
May we all understand that the story of divine conception is not one of the mother’s biology but a story of the child’s destiny:
His name will be called Jesus for he will save his people from their sins.
And when you come to understand the destiny of Jesus, may you find the courage to commit your life to him and his path of peace on earth.
