Colossians 3 tells us to "take off" the old and "put on" the new but what does that look like? This message talks through putting on kindness, humility, gentleness, patience, and love.

When we put our faith in Jesus, we make a decision to be “crucified with Christ” so that Christ can live in us. The Christian walk is not about behavior modification, sin management or making ourselves act right, it is about letting the life of Christ live through us. We must know who we are and who we no longer are. We must know how God sees us and choose to see ourselves that way.

Jesus is the only way to Father. Jesus is truth and integrity personified. Jesus is life and our opportunity for new life.

Jesus told us to partake of the bread and the wine “in remembrance of” Him. As we remember how his body was broken and how his blood was poured out to cover our sins, we are challenged to live lives worthy of the sacrifice He made for us.

In John 15 Jesus says that He is the true vine and that we are the branches. The more we remain in Him, the more productive we are in doing those things that have eternal significance. Our Father will prune away the broken, dead and unfruitful parts of us so that we can “bear much fruit” for Him.

Psalms 19 teaches "the heavens declare His glory." We see God's artistry and handiwork throughout nature but why does it move us so? This message seeks to look at that and what our response should be.

According to Isaiah 61, Jesus came to free, to restore and to heal. Throughout His ministry, Jesus showed us what genuine compassion looked like as He helped “the least of these.” He has the same compassion for us and He calls us to live lives of intentional compassion for others.

This message will focus on the humanity of Jesus an how He left the

perfection of Heaven to be one of us. He felt joy, pain and grief. He

experienced hunger, temptation, betrayal and hardship. He lived with us

and died for us so that we could know how to truly live.

Behavior flows from the heart. What’s on the inside will pour out on the outside at some point.
