In the second ever first episode of AustinMates Jonathan discusses his feelings about Batman: Arkham Knight, Jessica tells us all about Tom Clancy's The Division, and Gabriel complains that more games aren't The Secret of Mana. We also discuss our feelings on the closure of Lionhead Studios, the game that Jessica suspects may change her mind about VR, and how Nintendo could actually sell WiiU.
A Thousand Words returns on time on our new schedule! Tuesday night! Yeah, that's the podcast prime time! So listen in as Jessica, Ron, and Stan discuss the weird painting The Stuff That Dreams Are Made Of by John Anster Fitzgerald. In it we also discuss procuring goblin models, Jessica's sleep habits, and developing new ways of collecting art.
AustinMates is a new podcast on the Crosstawk network. We are Gabriel Dover, Jessica Martin, and Jonathan Metts. Three friends who grew up together in a small town and now live only miles apart in Austin, TX. Since we were children we have bonded over video games, comic books and the like. We've always liked to share our opinions with each other, and now we want to share them with anyone who will sit still long enough to listen.
So what are we going to talk about? Mostly video games most likely. That's kind of our jam. Also comic books, movies, maybe music. But mostly games. We hope to get an episode out every couple of weeks, or at least that's what we're thinking right now. So check it out, let us know what you think, and hopefully you'll enjoy listening to our show as much as we enjoy recording it.
Welcome back to BOP! This time, Jon couldn't make it, but Mike, Stan, Jonny and Karl soldiered on to discuss 10 Cloverfield Lane before getting to Zootopia, Pride & Prejudice & Zombies, and The Boy and the Beast. Plus some Star Wars talk, because it's unavoidable. Then, in the second segment, we get into some Post Office Poison, ranging from our most anticipated releases in 2016 to our favorite scenes from last year to our thoughts on 120FPS film projected by lasers.

Join us as we talk about his Christian version of Aladdin, as well as body modification, an Aladdin horror sequel, and we all reflect on what we learned over the past year.
We know we said we were back and that was totally kinda true! And now we're back again with a whole new painting called The Peacemaker by John George Brown. Join us as Ron invents a new insult, Stan gets sexy, and Jessica totally throws her boyfriend under the bus!
Hey folks! It's only been a week since the last episode but we are back for another. This time we shine a spotlight on The Witch before getting into other things we've seen like Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon 2, The Overnight, Rolling Papers, Sicario, and more!
Then in our second segment, Stan jumps in to talk about his pick for Movie of the Month, Cooley High! Next episode is gonna feature another batch of listener mail so be sure to send your questions, comments, and concerns to [email protected] or to Twitter (@crosstawk) and we'll get to them on the show! See ya then!
Although perhaps inconsistent, we are not yet idle. Syndicated, the TV podcast for the lapsed viewer takes a look this week at True Detective, the first season of the HBO critically acclaimed anthology series.
On the couch this week are Andy, Nathan, and friend of the show Zach Miller. Zach has been itching to get us to talk about this show basically since the very beginning of our Syndicated adventure, over two years ago.
As always, send feedback to [email protected] and follow us for sporadic updates at @SyndicatedPod.
Welcome back to BOP! Apologies for the late delivery, but we'll have a brand new episode this Friday, March 4th, as well! This time, Stan and Jon couldn't make it, but Karl, Jonny, and Mike got right down to business, with discussions on Hail, Cesar!, Deadpool, The Art of the Deal and more! Then, in the second segment, it's time for Post Office Poison, with questions about reversals of opinion on films, the essential Deadpool comics, and what it would take to restore our faith in the Oscars.

We're back! Weather and technical problems can only keep us away for so long. And now we're back with a vengeance. And the target of that vengeance? None other than the Runts of Cycni C. What are we talking about? Maybe you should listen and find out, lazy!
