A Thousand Words returns with another listener submission. Friend of the show Wayne sends us to Hell with Dante and Virgil along with two gentlemen apparently having a good time.
We also discuss our favorite Thanksgiving foods, Stan's hate of Allan Cumming, Stan's hate of Woody Allen, and Jessica and Ron's passionate defense of both men and their art. Can a house divided still stand? Probably. Check out this episode to be sure!
Hey folks! BOP is here yet again for an episode filled with new movies. First we go in-depth on Spotlight before getting into what else we've seen including The Night Before, Goodnight Mommy, Call Me Lucky, Dracula Untold, and more! Then in our second segment we tear into a new batch of your listener mail. The questions were really great this time so be sure not to miss them!
In two weeks Mike will make his glorious return to discuss his Movie of the Month, Opening Night! So be sure to come back for that one. Also head on over to iTunes and leave us a review. If you have any questions for the next edition of Post Office Poison send them to [email protected] or to Twitter (@crosstawk) and we'll answer them on the show. See you in two weeks!
"It's just the bored scribblings of a teenager."

Has it really been so long? Yes! It has! After taking a bit of a late summer (fall?) break, the four lapsed viewers are back to talk about HBO's Silicon Valley. We've been threatening to cover HBO content ever since HBO NOW was announced, and we're about to jump in with this Mike Judge comedy starring Thomas Middleditch, TJ Miller, Martin Starr, Kumail Nanjiani and others.
As always, send feedback to [email protected] and follow us for sporadic updates at @SyndicatedPod.
In this very special episode of A Thousand Words, the gang drinks deeply from Johannes Vermeer's The Wine Glass. Along the way they get drunk on the difference between a facade and a veneer, contemplate the best songs of the 20th century, Jessica tells a heartwarming tale of a night at the movies with her mother.
Hey people! BOP is back for another episode featuring Karl & The Jons. This time our spotlight shines on the new Bond flick, Spectre. We then get into what else we've been watching, including Nasty Baby, The Gift, Steve Jobs, and more! Then in our second segment it was Karl's pick for Movie of the Month and he chose the 1965 Russ Meyer film, the notorious Faster, Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
Next episode will be a Post Office Poison show so be sure to send in your questions, comments, and concerns to [email protected] or to Twitter (@crosstawk). Then pop over to iTunes and leave us a rating and review. We'll see ya in two weeks!
A Thousand Words returns after a delightful vacation to bring you the heartwarming tale of Three Boys by Estaban Murillo. In what may be our filthiest episode yet, we also discuss the virtues of buying cheap, define the Good Old Days, and the benefits of adoption.
Also, we get our first listener message! Yay for listeners!
Hey everybody! BOP is back for another episode featuring Karl & The Jonathans. The big movie this month is Beasts of No Nation. We shine a spotlight on it before getting in other new movies like Bridge of Spies, Room, and Lost Soul! Then in our second segment we open up another new batch of your listener mail!
Have any questions you want to ask the crew? Send them over to [email protected] or to Twitter (@crosstawk) and we'll get to them on the show. Next episode we'll talk Karl's pick for Movie of the Month, Faster Pussycat Kill Kill. It's on Youtube! Go watch it! See you in two weeks!
Boschtober comes to an end with a painting by the Bosch himself, Cutting the Stone. Also in this episode, we sing re-visit the Ren Fair, sing a historically accurate version of Dem Bones, and we gripe about the weather. It's our most Nashville-specific episode yet!
Sorry for the delays, folks, but we've got a brand new BOP! This time, Mike Sklens couldn't make it, but we gained an all-new Mike - Michael "TYP" Cole, who you might know from such podcasts as Radio Trivia: Podcast Edition at NintendoWorldReport.com! It was great having TYP on, so we made sure to make it an extra-great episode, starting with an all-in discussion on The Martian before moving on to such films as Grandma, The Visit and The Walk.
Then, in Segment 2, we move on to our Movie of the Month: Jacob's Ladder. Did we learn to let go and love this movie, or are we still suffering from PTSD after watching it? You'll have to listen in to find out! And be sure to come back next month when we discuss Faster Pussycat! Kill! Kill!
Have a question or comment for BOP? Let us know via email ([email protected]), Twitter (@crosstawk) or in the comments section on the site. And be sure to head over to iTunes to leave a rating and a review. Thanks for listening, and we'll see you in two weeks for more movies and more movie things!
