Last week Pastor Clay showed us some of the realities of prayer that we can expect in our prayer life, when our prayer life looks like Daniel's. Pastor Clay is going back to Daniel 9:20-23, and Daniel 10:1-21 to give us one more reality about prayer.

Today we turn to as important a subject as anything we could look upon...the discipline of prayer. Pastor Clay's going to show us in Daniel chapters 9 and 10, how important prayer was for Daniel and what resulted from Daniel's prayer life. We'll see how important prayer is for our lives and what obstacles we face when we pray.

Repent, that's a word that we don't hear a lot in our culture. But that doesn't mean it's not still very important for our lives. Today Pastor Clay is taking into the first half of Daniel chapter 9 where we find Daniel praying to God to restore the nation of Israel and in Daniel's prayer today, we'll hear the key to getting right with God and the key is that little word with big meaning. The word ''repent.''

As we continue our series in the book of Daniel, Pastor Clay is taking us today to the second part of chapter 8. Last week, God showed Daniel how the empire's of Medo-Persia and Greece would rise up. This week's prophecy takes us to a very dark time in the history of the nation of Israel, and we come face to face with one of the most evil men in the history of the world.
