Advent Sermon Series: Coming Home for Christmas
This Advent Season, we are studying Isaiah’s promises that guide us to the heart of what God is doing in Jesus. Isaiah speaks to a people longing for home—longing for peace, justice, belonging, and restoration—and reveals a Servant who comes to bring all of it to God’s household. Throughout the season, we’ll explore how God draws near to His children, establishes His gracious ways for our good, heals what sin has broken, and welcomes us into a Home shaped by His light, His mercy, and His unending love. As we remember Jesus coming to us on that first Christmas, we’ll celebrate that in Jesus, our true Home has come—not a place we fight to reach, but a Savior who comes to bring us back, hold us close, and keep us forever.
Sunday's Message: Far From Home
We spend our lives yearning for peace, rest, and a place to belong, but Christmas proclaims that our true home has already come to us. In Christ, God steps into our exile so that we might dwell forever in His presence.
