13 Mar 2012: One chilly evening, early in the fall of 2010, Adam Brockway, Dave Wright, Carl Anderson, Luke Anderson and Zack Infante gathered by a wood stove in a barn on the outskirts of Greenwich, NY. With a snare, a kick, and an old beat up high hat, Carl began teaching himself how to play the drums while Adam and Zack played along on guitars, Luke on banjo and Dave on bass. Vocal melodies and harmonies were flowing like the beer from their cans and within a few hours, the group had written 2 songs front to back and it was obvious, at least to the brand new quintet, that they had immediately put together a sound that was just as unique as it was traditional. Week by week, song by song, the band quickly collaborated a full set-list of original music, recorded an album in a bedroom with two sm-58s and in 2011 released their debut album Greatest Hits Vol. 1. Eastbound Jesus continued to grow musically, as well as with members picking up Dylan Robinson on lead guitar, as Zack Infante took over on lap steel guitar. Writing music and picking up fans throughout the spring the band won the Saratoga Performing Arts Battle Of The Bands in 2011. Eastbound Jesus continues to grow musically and went into the studio in late November to record their album Holy Smokes which was released in January of 2012. The album represents a year as a band and the completely unique and exciting sound the members have all worked to develop.
13 Mar 2012: The band toured up and down the east coast throughout much of 1985 headlining and supporting many of the times best known metal acts. In 1986 they would release their debut self titled EP. Europe immediately embraced the band (most notably England and Germany). More touring, radio airplay and media coverage followed. But just as quickly as they arrived, so too did they divide and fall. By the spring of 1987 the original line-up was over. However main-man David Smith was not ready to lay Blacksmith to rest and quickly recruited new players and picked up where the first version of the group left off. Several gigs and demos later Blacksmith signed with Tropical Records in late 1988. Tropical Records released 'Fire from Within' in early 1989. The band would hit the road to support the new release and played everywhere they possibly could. Once again Blacksmith caught worldwide press attention along with appearances on MTV and many regional cable access programs. The group would even have some of their music featured in several Fox syndicated television programs. With so much exposure, attention, and product endorsements it seemed Blacksmith were on a roll. But as the decade drew to a close so did interest in heavy metal or so it seemed. As the 90s began Dave would put Blacksmith to rest.
06 Mar 2012: Vicki and Mike joined their voices and talents to form 2Late in January 2004. Influenced by Maura OConnell, Cheryl Wheeler, Richard Thompson, Little Big Town, and other adult contemporary folk and country artists, they have developed a unique musical style featuring complex vocal harmonies and strong acoustic guitar work. While they often play covers at licensed venues, they have filled evenings with the sounds of their own original songs, from the award-winning 'Desperation ( One Last Chance)' and the soulful 'Wishing' to the often-requested 'Duct Tape My Heart' and the plaint against the grind of air travel '(I Did Not) Kill the Kid.' They have played a plethora of venues, from ice cream shops to tea houses to the Linda Norris Auditorium, and have been heard on local radio on WAMC, WEXT and WNYQ.

07 Feb 2012: Jed began recording demos of his painstakingly crafted alt-pop tunes and giving them away at solo coffeehouse performances in the mid-1990s. The demo cassettes traveled far and wide from Jed?s home base of Albany, NY, finding their way into the hands of artists like Johnston, King Missile, Anal C*nt, Agnostic Front and Brian Dewan, all of whom recorded covers of Jed?s tunes. While continuing to produce new recordings as a solo artist, Jed currently serves as a member of three bands: Sevendys, an ongoing exploration of classic rock forms with Avi Buffalo guitarist Avi Zahner-Isenberg and drummer Sheridan Riley, bass pioneer Chuck Rainey, and percussion great Jerry Marotta; the experimental-psychedelic-indie-metal Skyscape with singer Dom Maltempi; and the ferocious Jeebus, which boasts an all-star lineup that includes guitar legend Reeves Gabrels, drummer Joe Abba, and Hanslick Rebels Mike Keaney and Alex Dubovoy. Joey Ramone invited Jed to open for him at his final CBGB performance; when Jed wrote 'The Bowery Electric' in posthumous tribute to Joey, the surviving Ramones reunited to record it as a single and perform it live.
31 Jan 2012: Big Creek is a three piece Americana band that started in 2009 and is based out of Nassau, NY. Big Creeks musical and writing influences stem from the great American melting pot combining elements of country, country swing, bluegrass, rockabilly, blues, and pop into a satisfying musical stew. Jerry Yaro is the most eclectic musician in the band singing and playing guitar, mandolin, fiddle, with bass and cello sprinkled in for good measure. His song writing is heart felt and drawn from real life combining catchy N.R.B.Q. like pop arrangements with elements of some of the great country music interpreters such as Graham Parsons. He can also rock with the best of them when its time to get feet tapping. Long a part of the local music scene Jerry was looking for a new rootsy acoustic direction and in possession of an old banjo that needed restoration when he met Brian Daniels. While that particular banjo was beyond redemption except as wall art a musical association was begun. Brian is Big Creeks other song writer drawing influence from the likes of The Mississippi Sheiks, Earnest Tubb, and numerous country blues artists. Brian contributes vocals, banjo, and guitar. After several months as a duo Jerry convinced his long time musical partner and good friend Bob Assini to come to a practice session. A lifetime drummer and percussionist who teaches drums in the Albany area Bob has experience with a wide variety of musical styles even traveling to Ireland where he is a welcome participant in authentic seisiuns. After hearing the music Jerry and Brian were creating, Bob readily agreed to join the group providing the percussive glue that ties everything together. Big Creek has performed at Troy Pig Out, Dinosaur BBQ, River St. Beat Shop, Lyons Lake, The Delaware Street Fair, The Four Corners, Emack and Bolios, Quigleys, Bad Ass Burrito, Tierra Coffee Roasters, The Taste of Troy Restaurant Tour, and the Schodack Country Fair.

03 Jan 2012: Born in 1994 in Watervliet, NY, Emma displayed an intense love of music and song from a very early age. Classically trained in piano and voice, Emma also studies and plays organ, guitar, violin, and flute. She performed in various local theater and school productions throughout her earlier years. In 2009, Emma met Saratoga Springs musician, performer, song writer, and record producer Tony Perrino. Mr. Perrino immediately recognized in Emma a passion for the classic soulful music of a generation ago. He nurtured her songwriting, and also introduced Emma to the Hammond B-3 organ. Her love of that instrument was instantaneous. Emmas music explores the great soul and blues performers of our time, from Sippie Wallace to Mavis Staples to Bonnie Raitt, and many, many more. While paying homage to these past greats, Emmas style is always uniquely her own. She continues to refine her craft by appearing frequently in local coffee houses, road houses, and night clubs. Today, Emma continues to captivate audiences with her smokey vocals and inspiring play on keyboards. In the fall of 2010 she began her next recording project at Silvertone Studios in Wilton, New York.
