2020 was a very difficult year. It was the year of mourning for many, but also a year of many starts. We started the podcast this year in the midst of the pandemic and did not expect the positive response that we would get. It has been six months full of learning, spending time with amazing guests, and finding out more about you, the listener.

For this our final episode of 2020, we went back and recapped some of our favourite moments from our interviews, answered some of your questions, heard from our guests about their top moments in pop culture this year, and gave our top lists of 2020.

Tecla has been in the music industry for over ten years and was one of Mail & Guardian’s Top 200 Young South Africans. We chatted about that time she auditioned for Idols, what she thinks of this year’s Grammy nominees, the DJ Lag situation and her top 5 albums ever.

This week we have a special episode about the new Netflix film, Riding With Sugar with special guests Charles Mnene and Hakeem Kae-Kazim, who play the roles of Joshua and Mambo respectively.
