  • Your Presence Is A Present | CTDP 243

As entrepreneurs and business owners, we are driven by the thrill of the hunt, the kill. We are always ready to make that next sale, take the call, send the important email, and secure the game-changing deal. But at what cost?

Do we fear that if we don't make that deal, then perhaps our loved ones won't have the things they need in order to survive? Most of us either have or will experience this along the journey of becoming the most elite self. At some point, we all have to ask ourselves what matters most, what is it we truly want, and where our priorities lie.

On this episode of "Crushing The Day," Drewbie reminds us that the people we love and care about, don't actually need massive riches in order to survive! What most of us desire is a happy life, one that thrives on connection and time spent with those we love. Tune in to learn more about how Your Presence Is A Present.

    What You'll Learn:

    • Why we might lose focus on what truly matters as we go along this journey.
    • How the people that we love really just need our time and connection.
    • That every gain we make financially can go to waste when there's not enough time to share with those we care about.

    Favorite Quote:

"At the end of the day for most of the people who care about you, all they need is your presence, all they need is to be around you and have that time."

  • Talent Is Not A Free Pass | CTDP 242

We all know individuals who tend to excel when it comes to talent. Where there is extreme talent, there can also be extreme laziness. Talent is sometimes used as a crutch when it comes down to showing up and doing the work that needs to be done.

No matter how good we might be at something, we all experience an off day from time to time. We can become so overly confident in our unique abilities, that we end up buckling under pressure when it comes time to step up to the plate and deliver.

On this episode of "Crushing The Day," Drewbie says, "Talent doesn't last forever. The people who really end up winning in life are the ones who work hard, show up early, stay late, and remain focused at all times." Tune in to learn more.

    What You'll Learn:

    • Why excuses and procrastination don't work just because someone might be extremely talented.
    • How we are not in it for the short game.
    • That in order to be successful during the entirety of our legacy, we have to show up and do the work.

  • Who Is Setting The Example? | CTDP 241

We all can talk a good talk, but taking action and doing the work is what actually matters. As we grow, we get challenged to step into alignment with our core values and become the leaders that we say we are.

On this episode of "Crushing The Day," Drewbie shares that when we choose to live in integrity, accepting the necessary role for our growth, we become the example of success for those around us.

Just as we have to set the example for our children on how to succeed in life, we must also show our teammates and community how they too can succeed. If you aren't being the example for them, then who is? Be the example of what you want to see in the world. Tune in to learn more.

    What You'll Learn:

    • Why it's important to show up as the person that we say we are.
    • How anyone who says's they are self-made is full of sh**!
    • That we should be showing others what it takes to have the level of success that we strive for.
