The Celtics beat the Hawks 113-103 and improve to 13-4 on the season. This was a game with no Holiday or Porzingis but the Celtics handled this game beautifully. The defense was the star of the show in this one. We saw the Celtics get back to that smothering defense we saw early this season and it forced Trae Young to turn the ball over 5 times and we saw the Celtics score 26pts on the Hawks 16 turnovers. As good as the defense was we saw some excellent ball movement throughout and some very good individual performances.

Tatum led the way on the offensive end having an incredible 4th quarter that kept the Celtics in the lead after all of the pushes from Atlanta. Horford and Queta played exceptionally well defensively and rebounded the ball very well. Derrick White led the team in assists with 11. The part that confuses me about this game was the start for Banton but even he played solid for the majority of this game. There isn't much to complain about in this game besides another subpar shooting night. The defense and ball movement looked great and offset the shooting. The impressive part of this win was that every time the Hawks made a run and got this lead into single digits, the Celtics responded and we need to see that continue!
