8/11/26 – "A Few of My Favorite Things" – While we were sleeping (to coin a movie title) … While we have been enjoying the American life… going to ballgames, school events, state fairs… having barbeques in our backyard… working and bringing home a paycheck, buying new cars, the latest clothes, getting our haircuts, our manicures…going out to our favorite restaurants… While we were buying new STUFF… and then containers to hold the NEW STUFF… or the OLD stuff… There were sinister things going on.
In our public schools our children were being taught that all of our favorite things were evil. That the homes they live in… the ball fields they play on… the parks they enjoy… the hospitals we use… all are on stolen land. AND they are only enjoying the “good life” because of their skin color (if they are white) and because their ancestors had slaves over 100 years ago.
When children are young, they are impressionable and they believe what adults tell them, especially schoolteachers.
THEN THEY GO TO COLLEGE! And some highfaluting, pompous professor tells them… there is no God. That America is evil… that their parents are dumb. That America has nothing that is its own. No culture… that is stolen as well as the land… not our music, not our pastime. HECK… our mothers probably stole apple pie too!

3964 – August 6, 2026 – Political Theater Does Not Support Liberty – AS YOU KNOW, I like to try to think up some show title or quick-witted saying to get us started. This morning, well… we will talk about politics this and that. AND I’ve come to the conclusion…

Political Theater Does not support Liberty!

All Democrats Support Tyranny.

Republicans House Too Many Tories.

This morning the Senate Panel voted 8-5 to hold Dr. Frankenstein Fauci in Contempt of Congress.

What Happens Next? Because advancing a full contempt resolution on the Senate floor typically requires a 60-vote threshold—and Republicans hold a 53-seat majority—Chairman Rand Paul has indicated he may attempt to bypass a full Senate vote and send the criminal referral directly to the Department of Justice (DOJ). The DOJ will then ultimately decide whether or not to pursue criminal misdemeanor charges against the retired public health official.  (a possibility of one year in jail) … Yeah, don’t hold your breath! After all… Wasn’t the Real Contempt that Fauci displayed directed at We the People?

August 4, 2026 – They TOOK Our CHILDREN! – HOW DID WE LOSE AMERICA’S YOUTH TO COMMUNISM? Perhaps we (the parents) just weren’t paying attention. Perhaps we spoiled them a little too much and never gave them jobs or chores of responsibility AND they never had to earn their allowance. Perhaps we were the spoiled selfish ones and left them to the “care” of public-school teachers and university professors, who taught them that America is bad. Perhaps we forgot to take them to church AND told ourselves we’ll let the children make their own decisions on faith and religion. AND now they are deciding which gender they think they want to be.

Talk to your kids, teach them about America… the truth… NOT the lies of the communist’s sirens.

July 30, 2026 – The Volatility of Our Times – We discuss from time to time the instability and unpredictability of the stock market. We watch the gas prices, food prices and textile prices rise and fall… mostly rise. BUT there’s a volatility in the air that simply cannot remain. Like the financial crisis we talk about, there is also a morality crisis which will eventually destroy all, or will cave in on itself leaving a multitude of casualties behind.

We are seeing this every day in our nation and around the world. As you know, I contend it is caused by a falling away from God OR an out and out denying of God. Much to the chagrin of the haters, our nation was founded on Biblical principles and laws… Judeo Christian values and morals. When the foundation is damaged (forgotten) the evils of men will then attempt to take over.

I like to quote John Adams: “We have no government armed with power capable of contending with human passions unbridled by morality and religion. Avarice, ambition, revenge or gallantry, would break the strongest cords of our Constitution as a whale goes through a net. Our Constitution was made only for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”

3957 – July 28, 2026 – Fueling Up for November – YEP – THE ELECTION THAT IS THE “MOTHER OF ALL ELECTIONS” Okay, I might be exaggerating a little BUT … I don’t think so.

I don’t know if you’ve noticed or not, but political choices in America today are one of two: Stay with Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness (our US Constitutional Republic), OR fall to the democrat-communists who promise everything FREE but will end up being… a cold dark winter (all year long). It will be like what was experienced in the pioneer days of America. .

Perhaps instead of using buffalo or cow chips for heating fuel, they can burn the dung left on the streets by their homeless…  NASTY THOUGHT INDEED!

7/23/26 "Cunning, Ambitious and Unprincipled Men (and women)"
Should we laugh at lying politicians? Should we simply accept that they practice unprincipled behavior… like insider trading? Should we continue to look the other way as our elected officials practice “deals” with lobbyists?
DC occupiers occupying offices and cuttin’ deals… is NOT the way of representing constituents, it is the way of “cashing in” for personal wealth. AND, unfortunately, it is totally and completely nonpartisan.

Is it any wonder, truly… why so many politicians pervert the phrase “Separation of Church and state?” Is it any wonder, they have rejected God? For they are Cunning, Ambitious and Unprincipled men. And women!

3949 – July 16, 2026 – Mid-Terms Matter – Ike Skelton (for MO State Senate) joins Beth Ann today to talk politics!

Just who gave the title to these elections as mid-term… as if they are less important than the election year in which WE elect a president?  I don’t know the answer to that, but I do know the “enemy at the gate” has taken advantage of these “midterm” elections. Knowing that Americans, regardless of party affiliation, will “forget” or just not show up. However, those pushing bizarre and perverted ideas of our Constitution, be it local, state of federal… they show up… and they know that the voter turnout will be low on the other side of the aisle.

7/15/26 "The Enemy is at the Gate" – The Enemy Is LITERALLY at the Gate!

Unless the Lord builds the house, the builders labor in vain. Unless the Lord watches over the city, the guards stand watch in vain. In vain you rise early and stay up late, toiling for food to eat—for he grants sleep to those he loves. Children are a heritage from the Lord, offspring a reward from him. Yesterday Speaker Mike Johnson gave a speech to warn that the “Enemy is at the Gate.” We must take the enemy seriously – we must stop them now! (Midterm elections are important BUT Americans are too often apathetic toward the midterms.

However, the enemy has taken advantage of these elections and seized positions of power… While Americans vacationed their voter RIGHT – OBLIGATION… until a presidential election.
