CTHDRA with Leeland

What happens when we leave our comfort zone and place our trust entirely in God's promise?

MIDNIGHT is a profound exploration of God's redemptive nature and His immense desire to see us all healed, delivered, freed, and made whole. Additionally, we contemplate the transformative power of strength found in the Valley of Weeping. We'll discuss ways to invite God’s ever-present consolation into our daily lives, and emphasize the importance of internal transfiguration over external transformation.

In this episode we will unearth what I like to call The kingdom economy of kindness through artistic gift giving. How art is not only a window into the glory of God but also a healing balm for the broken heart. And what is the kingdom mentality of the believer artist who sees the current industry model as something God can work in and redeem but never at the expense of the kingdom value of art. Which is a dual purpose, first to reveal intimately the Glory of God to a person and second to mend the broken hearted from the pain of evil and suffering in a fallen world.”

The oldest name we have for God in biblical history is the name Yahweh. In this episode, we will remind ourselves together as God's creatives, that we are only branches and our created purpose is to abide in the vine, to breathe in the presence of Jesus and to breathe out His praise.

Inspiration is not a faucet that you turn on and off, but a series of wild streams that you follow until it leads you to a rushing river. In today's episode we'll talk about the fluidity in collaboration, the difference between operating from a place of pride and control to operating from a place of humble expectation.

In this episode, we'll dive into the story of Noah and see how it harmonizes with the experience of God's nature through the process of creativity, how the act of creating art can mirror building ark to withstand the flood of suffering in life and how to cultivate a secret history with God that not only involves scripture and prayer, but also the artistic process as part of your daily worship and more.

In this episode, we'll explore the intersection where artistic inspiration and revelation meet. Is art only a commodity or is it first a language of the divine? Is it a product or a conversation between humanity and God? How do we cultivate a worldview or a biblical narrative that has a greater definition for the value of art?

What is God's generational purpose for artistic expression? And what is his eternal purpose for His artist and His Kingdom?

As an introduction to the first season of CTHDRA, we will lay out the vision for CITY OF GOD and the disruptive genius of His plan in the church. Of all of the stories in the Bible that I believe most relate to the current and coming position of the church in the West it is the story of Daniel and Babylon.

We will dive into the life of Daniel and examine how we as creatives, story tellers, worshippers & artists can emulate the character, obedience and gifting of Daniel amongst a modern day Babylon.

We will also take a closer look into the Cover Art for our album City Of God which is piece from 1595 By Abel Grimmer titled “The Tower Of Babel”
