Green Left journalist Ben Radford recently spent six weeks in Cuba as part of a trip around Latin America. He experienced first-hand the impact of the United States-imposed blockade on everyday life in the socialist country. 

He spoke to Green Left's Isaac Nellist about his experiences, and what he learned from talking to people in Cuba about their struggles and successes.
