I never thought I'd co-host a podcast, but once I started there was one name at the top of my list of creators I wanted to interview: Cullen Bunn. Cullen is one of the most prolific comic book writers working today and is here in the Yeti Cave, a place I'm sure he felt quite at home, to talk about Shock Shop #1, his newest comic with Dark Horse Comics. Cullen and I chat about the inspiration for this anthology horror series, writing emotionally complex characters and then having horrible things happen to them, and his connection to his fans. In addition to his website, he has one of the best newsletters in the industry as well as a Patreon and Discord. This was a joy for me to interview Cullen and I hope you enjoy it too.
