Desi Rexx is one of a kind. The highly influential singer and guitarist for D'Molls 777 was a Sunset Strip mainstay during the wild times of the 80's. Here on the We Talk Music podcast he comes in shot out of a cannon, unfiltered and uncensored just the way we like it. He has stories and opinions, and then more stories, and it's amazing to listen to.

From how the band got signed, who told Desi Rexx and D'Molls they were influenced by them, David Lee Roth stories, and a whole, whole bunch more this is a feast of entertainment you got to hear, and  it will be hard to top as the best interview WTM does this year. Check it out, and check out D'Molls 777 first new single in years, "Blue", while keeping an eye out for an upcoming full album. Enjoy!

Look, up in the sky! It's a Guitarist!  No, it's a Producer! No, it's a singer! Wait, it Harry Hess, which means it's all three!

Harry Hess has forged quite a legacy for himself in the music industry with his unique ability to adapt and persevere.  It's with that at the forefront that's allowed his band Harem Scarem to outlast almost all of their peers, as well as enable him to collaborate with a who's who of musicians from not just his home country of Canada, but throughout the world.

Since he's such a sought after talent he's often reached out to for his vocals, which he's done time and again for the band First Signal. Their 5th release titled Face Your Fears is currently available in whatever format or platform you prefer, and serves up a tasty collection of melodic hard rock.

But what makes this interview really stand out is the thoughtful and intelligent way in which Harry considers and answers each and every question. We're not saying we're being lied to in other interviews, but there's the truth, and then there's THE TRUTH, and Harry Hess takes it to a brand new level. It's awesome stuff. Enjoy!

Fastest Land Animal might just be our new favorite band here at We Talk Music, because their album East Coast / West Coast, In Between has almost all the elements of what hooked us into music in the first place. It's a blistering pace and epic taste for that leaves you salivating for more.

Band leader "Screamin" Jack Novak, aka John Cusimano, is so smart, and equally cool, to the point of it nearly being unfair. Known well for his other band The Cringe, he breaks down both music and the music industry in a way that is both accessible and eloquent, while keeping it light and funny too. It's great stuff so make sure to check it out by streaming or downloading and giving it a share!

From their website, because we couldn't say it any better, "Meltt – a mind-bending alternative-rock band with a love for heavy riffs, colourful instrumentation, detail oriented production, and under it all, multi-layered song-writing. Let them sonically paint your soundscape and sweep you into an ethereal dream."

That sums up the music of the British Columbia based band pretty well, as they manage to make music that somehow energizes yet relaxes you simultaneously.

We Talk Music is excited to present our interview with two of the band members, Chris Smith and James Turner, for a great time talking about their song writing process, evolving from a more traditional classic rock background into their curra1nt sound, lives performances, their loyal following, upcoming plans even streaming numbers. These are a couple of very smart young artists who we're sure you'll enjoy, so download or stream and give it a share!
