Joel, Josh, and Morten have finally hit the end of 2020. In this special episode, we look back on the highs and lows from 2020 in pro wrestling. Was AEW able to weather a potentially damning storm that was COVID-19? What happened in WWE both good and bad? Was NXT able to rise up and claim Wednesdays? How did NJPW handle the pandemic and how did it impact its performers?

Take a listen to find out who won and who lost this year. We do want to acknowledge the passing of Brodie Lee and pass along our well wishes to his family. RIP Brodie Lee

What's it like to craft a truly legendary song? A song that has millions of views on YouTube, has has been listened to billions of times across the entire globe? A song like This Beat Goes On / Switchin' To Glide that has recently been inducted into the Canadian Songwriter's Hall of Fame? Well, your WTM hosts Brett and Morten may not know, but that's why The Kings are here, so Mister Zero and Dave Diamond can share the experience with you.

But of course that's not all that's on the show as we discuss their legendarily energetic live show, the documentary on them also available on YouTube, some amazing stories of crazy times they had, the underrated songs in their catalogue and more. It's a great, big fun show, just like The Kings themselves, and you got to check it out!

The Cult Film Showdown brings you a special treat for the Christmas season - the team puts The Star Wars Holiday Special into the Octagon!

A 1978 made-for-TV movie based on a story by George Lucas. The main storyline of the film takes place on the Wookiee home planet of Kashyyyk (including many minutes of Wookie-eese without subtitles).

Chewbacca and Han Solo visit the planet to celebrate the Wookiee holiday Life Day with his family, which includes his wife Malla, his son Lumpy, and his father Itchy.

As Chewbacca and Han are known Rebel agents, they are pursued by the Galactic Empire, who in the process invade Chewbacca's household. The plot is strung together by a series of musical numbers, celebrity appearances, and other variety-show acts, including songs and comedy routines by such 1970s celebrities as Jefferson Starship, Diahann Carroll, Art Carney, Harvey Korman, and Bea Arthur.

"The intersection of 70s pop culture and mounds of cocaine" - James Kata

So sit back and enjoy the laughs as The Cult Film Showdown travels back a long time ago to a galaxy far, far away. The 1970s.

(You know what's weird? Everyone always talks about this as a Christmas special, but it aired a week before Thanksgiving, so Life Day is more an analogue for American Thanksgiving rather than Christmas. The things you never think about.)

After listening to this episode about the Star Wars Holiday Special, check in with The Octagon, our on-going ranking of the movies covered in The Cult Film Showdown.

The We Talk Music podcast is a huge fan of R & B, which is why we're so very happy to be joined by Vivian Green to discuss her new album Love Absolute.

Lots of great talk on this episode as we cover these topics and more:

* How this album was going back to basics for Vivian Green with her starting with at the piano rather than pre-recorded tracks.

* The song Supposed to be Mine and the emotional vocal delivery.

* How she feels when she's achieved a good emotional delivery, or just the right delivery.

* Her son Jordan and spending time with him and his appearance on the album

It's a fun chat with an extremely talented artist, check it out.
