FEAR is False Evidence Appearing Real…that’s it!
In this episode we talk about WHY we fear, the confidence we experience on the other side of it, how Fear is a liar and from the enemy, a WWII prisoner and her great advice to look up to the Lord instead of focusing on the things that are out of our control, a brief interview with my 10 year old daughter, and a lesson from Dori in Finding Nemo…

  • Confidence Part 2- Conquering Perfectionism
Perfection is the enemy of good.
In this episode, I talk about my original “perfect” expectations for this podcast and how it slowed me down, an experience I had with kids and adults and the lesson I learned by noticing the clear difference between the 2 age groups confidence, the “marble jar concept” that we’ve all fallen victim to and more…
You’ll walk away with my 4 tips to help you conquer perfectionism so you can move another step closer into being your most confident self!
Stop striving to have the “perfect” body, be the “perfect” wife and mother, live the “perfect” life, or do the most “perfect” work.  DONE is better than perfect!  Strive for excellence, not perfection!
This “perfection” obstacle is holding you back from doing GOOD work, from trying new things, from going for something bigger…if you’re waiting for the perfect time and until all your ducks are in a row, you’re going to be waiting a very long time.  ACTION creates confidence!  So listen to this episode and let’s take some GOOD action!
This is part one of our confidence series, so if you haven’t listened to Part One yet, click here:https://podcasts.apple.com/us/podcast/14-confidence-part-1-how-to-stop-being-so-self-conscious/id1496560376?i=1000472126872

Imagine being at a baseball game and you spill your coke all over yourself...you get up to walk up the steps to go to the bathroom and as you start walking up the stairs in between all the rows of people, what goes through your mind?

"I can't believe I spilled coke all over me, I look ridiculous!"
"I sure hope I don't see anyone I know here!"

  • It Is Well With My Soul-Having Peace in Your Heart, No Matter What
It's easy to have peace in our heart, trust God, and praise Him when things are going how we expected.  But what about when things don't go our way?  How can we have peace in our heart no matter what and truly proclaim..."It is well with my soul"?
In today's episode we look at the story of Horatio Spafford and the heartbreaking loss that lead him to write the popular hymn, It Is Well With My Soul.  We also look at John 16:33 and Daniel, chapter 6, to discover more truths of God's promises and how we can say, "It is well with my soul", in any situation.
Whether we get the job or we don't.
Our house sells, or it doesn't.
The person we love is healed, or they remain sick.
We can have peace like a river knowing God is in control and is bigger than any challenge we might face!
