When surgery to remove a brain tumour came with complications that required six months in hospital recovering and left her blind, Karen McCarthy had to work out what was truly important in order to keep going. In this episode, we discuss how her blindness has impacted her life, career and family, how she's gathered strength and support, and the adventures she's had along the way.
