Today's episode is from a deep place in my heart as I share my experience with miscarrying our second child in 2017. I am somewhat unsure of my dates but believe I was around 12+ weeks pregnant when I miscarried. While this was a painful and sorrowful experience it was also marked by God's grace, peace and love.
My prayer and heart behind sharing this message is to both bring healing, encouragement and education to what miscarriage can look like.
*I share in this that I did not have a medicalised experience (I miscarried at home), but I do not want to lesson or stigmatise those who had a different experience.
Praying for each of you that listen to this episode.
Today I am beginning a birth series where I will discuss my 4 births and 1 miscarriage. Over the past 10 years I have had experiences of 2 hospital and 2 home births. I will share the things I did to prepare for my births and postpartum journey and provider choices I made. I have been blessed to have 4 low risk, unmedicated pregnancy and births and pray that this series encourages you to deep dive into God's design for pregnancy and birthing.
In this episode I reference Supernatural Childbirth by Jackie Mike. This episode does not discuss miscarriage, just my pregnancy and birth of my Daughter Eliana in 2014.
We're back again for Season 2. Today I am updating you with our baby announcement of our 4th child.
Today I am also sharing a prophetic word of encouragement from the book of Nehemiah in the bible. The Lord highlighted to me the similarities that Nehemiah faced when he grieved the ruins of his beloved Jerusalem, he prayed, fasted and set out to rebuild the walls and gates.
I share a brief overview from Nehemiah chapters 1 - 7.

Today I'm blessed to be speaking with my friend Rachel McInnes (wife and mother of 4) about raising kids to be financially literate and competent in a debt driven world. We discuss our upbringings and skills and values we've learnt and also fresh revelation we've received from the New Testament around giving and generosity. Join us as we discuss both biblical principles and practical tips to instil these values into your family and children.

This episode is a little different, I wanted to share with you two prophetic dreams the Lord gave me last year. Whilst these dreams were warning dreams, the Lord gave insight and strategies within these dreams. I have had the opportunity to process these dreams with some friends and believe they will bring encouragement and strategy to mothers and fathers in 2024.
I also shared a typed out (more brief) version of this on Lana Vawser's Zion's Company of Mother's blog: https://zionscompanyofwomen.com/teach-your-children/
Today I am chatting with Lana Vawser all about cultivating intimacy with the Lord in the midst of motherhood. Lana juggles being a wife, mother, minister whilst homeschooling her children.
