Lämmli is an artist, philosopher, and educator herself, she works with a comparative and solution-oriented mindset. She has been working for over a decade on art in global contexts and the pressure being brought to bear on existing art notions. She has run practice-based and practice-led research, art and applied projects in joint learning, transdisciplinary, and transcultural settings in Switzerland, Germany, Malawi, Bhutan, India, Hong Kong, China and elsewhere as part of the FOA-FLUX (foa-flux.net) research.
