Michael Stoler asks how each decided to become a doctor. Guests Spiegel liked science; Charney's 1st and 2nd choice was to play or coach pro basketball; for Halperin it was civil rights law; and Smith, to combine people and science.

The condo market is back! Luxury market inventory is low! Banks are lending! Interest is low and EVERYONE wants to be in New York! High-end realty is particularly exciting, attracting New Yorkers, foreign buyers, those looking for luxury and size.

New York City is the "fashion capital of the world!" Factories may have left NY for countries with cheaper labor. What is left in NY is the Intellectual property: design, creative talent, and the money. The industry is not dead; it's just not the same.
