  • Hair

You'll be glad to know we kept it tasteful!!

Check out Roscoe's curly locks! He does love a cuddle with Paul.

It turns out we have a lot of experience of different hair styles and the impact they have on us and those around us.

Join us for the meanderings on this personal topic to us all. We've all got a story about how hair may or may not have impacted us.

Don't forget, if you want to get involved drop us an email to [email protected].

  • Self-Care

Turns out, we're all rather busy and haven't readily got time without making some different choices.

You'll also notice that Dizziee, Nigel and Roscoe appear at points, giving us their point of view on all things self-care. What you'll find is that they do a brilliant job of highlighting the quality of our production. You're welcome!

Something we found useful was the idea of an ecology check when discerning if something was indeed an act of self-care or adding more onto the "to-do" list.

So sit back, relax, damage your hearing and see where your self-care journey takes you.

Now listen, we want to hear from you with ideas and suggestions, so if you want to get involved drop us an email to the usual place: [email protected]

  • Judgement

Dizziee sneezes on one of Paul's speakers... Yuk!!

Oh, and judgement is a tricky subject as we discuss there's no right or wrong way to approach it. There can be less and more effective ways to it though.

Fundamentally we can choose how we want to show up, and let's not forget - we often judge ourselves the harshest.

  • Choices

Dear listeners, today the RTG chose choices for us.

We were thrilled with the choice and chose to dodge around for a while before getting stuck into the topic.

Other choices include mild hysteria as well as some Dizziee farts.

For the more eagle eared cerebral pumper you may notice that we sound a little tired. Truth be told we were and so don't feel bad for listening on 1.5x speed.

Unsurprisingly there's more to choices than meets the eye and we have a brief meander down choice lane.

  • Dogs

We are grateful to Noah, Paul's youngest, who popped into the studio and offered us this topic.

We've done animals before and not specifically dogs.

We're not gonna lie to you, we love a dog, albeit couldn't eat a whole one (ba-dum, crash).

Turns out we've been making friends with them for over 20,000 years and it's quite the partnership.

So join us on this merry ramble as we talk all about dogs and you'll get to meet Roscoe, Nigel and Dizziee (she needs two e's).

  • Education

This week took us completely by surprise because the topic just came out of nowhere! Yes, that's how it normally happens and what's different is that we didn't stop, we just kept going in stead of ask the RTG to kick in.

What we know is that our educators are incredible, it's a privilege to have it available and there's lots of space for it to evolve.

Unsurprisingly we all have different experiences and perspectives. It's like we're all individual or something!!

If you'd like to get involved, drop us an email to [email protected].

Bon voyage you cerebral pumpers, you!

  • Cheese

Well that was quite the surprise!! Join us on this magical mystery tour of cheese!

From hills, to caves, to the universe and 8000yrs BC. We cover a lot of ground people!!

Then of course there's the eternal question: soft, wet or hard?

If you want to get involved with a topic, drop us an email to [email protected]

Although there is a "E" for explicit, we absolutely didn't take full advantage that's for sure! There's only one swear word we think.

  • Spontaneity

This podcast is founded on spontaneity, and of course quantum physics as we'll explain!

Lou and Paul have no idea what they're going to discuss each week and rely on their years of experience, curiosity and skills to help navigate their way through.

Turns out that keeping things natural better allows spontaneity to flow!

If you want to get involved, please drop us an email to [email protected].

  • Serial Interruptors

Well dear listeners, this was a magical mystery tour of an episode!

You'll be pleased to know there's a hearty pre-amble as we surf through a myriad of waves before the RTG finally kicks into action.

If you're not here for the giggles, you can jump ahead to the meat and potatoes.

We really enjoyed this and learned a lot about the various ways in which serial interruption can manifest.

If you'd like to get involved, drop us an email to [email protected]!

  • Procrastination

Well, I'm sure we could have done this another day...

We get curious about procrastination, how it shows up for us, how people deal with it differently and whether or not it serves a purpose.

There are also a couple of little easter eggs in there for you too. Let us know if you spot them!!

About Curious Brainfarts

From the publisher's feed

The place where two ordinary people talk about things people are curious about. We're not taking ourselves too seriously, and we certainly don't have all the answers. We're offering a light-hearted space to think about some stuff differently. We discuss the topics off the cuff based on how the theme strikes us in the moment! It's risky, we keep in the bloopers, and it keeps us on our toes.
