Chris Daughtry is of course the lead singer of the band of his name sake. He rose to fame in the early 2000's after being a runner up on American Idol. Of course the dude is a rock guy and if he ever needed to prove it, he's done just that with his latest release "World on Fire."

It's been 9 years since Evanescence released a proper album. Soon that will change with 'The Bitter Truth' but first Amy Lee is using her power for good with the song "Use My Voice." Amy is truly a wonderful human being and one of the most intelligent women I've ever met so it's about time she joins us for a conversation on the Rockcast.

Artists for Recovery is the name that has been given to a slew of artists that are now sober and are raising awareness for one of the worst epidemics this country has ever seen. The song "Maybe it's Time" by Sixx:A.M. has been re-released with Corey Taylor, Ivan Moody, Tommy Vext, Slash, Joe Elliot and more and they did to put money (literally) where their mouth is for the opioid problem. James Micheal joins me for a quick conversation to discuss this further.
