Yes the grammy's have been postponed and they don't really pay very close attention to the world of hard rock, but In This Moment have shined through and have been nominated for best metal performance. I catch up with lead singer of In This Moment and the amazing Maria Brink to discuss it further.

By this point we probably all know the emotional roller coaster ride that has been the life of Wes Scantlin, the lead singer of Puddle of Mudd. In the first part of this century it was hard pressed to find a more popular band, but drugs, alcohol and as Wes says women ultimately were the downfall. Then in 2019 he put out a new album called ‘Welcome to Galvania’ and rock radio welcomed them back with open arms. Sober, wiser, and more creative than ever we end 2020 with a conversation with Wes Scantlin.

Myles Kennedy is the lead singer of Alter Bridge, but he's also the lead singer of Slash Featuring Myles Kennedy and the Conspirators, plus he's an accomplished solo artist in his own right. Alter Bridge put out a version of their latest album 'Walk the Sky' called 'Walk The Sky 2.0' that features one new song "Last Rights" and a bunch of songs recorded live during their shortened US tour in support of the album. Myles is an amazing and good dude and we're always happy to have him on the Rockcast.A

Lajon Witherspoon of Sevendust returns to the Rockcast as they get set to do another live stream concert on January 8th. This time they will be playing their 3rd album 'Animosity' in it's entirety. So we're digging back in time and talking about that landmark album.

The power of the monolith compelled me to have Utah's own Royal Bliss on the show. Although it didn't take much convincing as they are old friends, plus they currently have another top 20 single. That song is of course called "Medication" and the did it with former Sick Puppy, Shim. It was time to catch up with Neil and Taylor from Royal Bliss.

'Medium Rarities' is the name of a compilation album by Mastodon that features one new song and a bunch of hard to find, covers and live songs. Time to catch up with one of the best guitarists in hard rock/heavy metal Bill Kelliher of Mastodon.

This conversation was actually recorded on Halloween and I was proudly wearing my Batman onesie will talking to Royal Blood. The two piece band joined me via Zoom from England to talk about their latest song "Trouble's Coming" and what's going on with their upcoming third album. Also me being the nerd I am I had to ask how they make this huge sound with just the two of them.

Ayron Jones is a Seattle born guitarist and singer/songwriter. He hails from the same neighborhood as Jimi Hendrix but a Hendrix clone he is not. Being influenced by the blues, hard rock, hip-hop and R&B Ayron has a sound all his own. Let's find out more plus a special Rockcast exclusive live performance of hit single "Take Me Away."

I can't even begin to explain how deep this conversation goes. Jason Alon Butler is the lead singer of Fever 333 who are just as much a revolution as they are a band. Jason had been on the front lines of the most recent protests and wrote the new ep 'Wrong Generation' all about it.
