CWTFB Radio

This week we’re back at it with a 1st time guest to the pod! We’re talking about the #Mattapan raised, & #LosAngeles living artist who goes by none other than Ayo Sk3tch‼️ Its been a long time coming and we’ve definitely heard his name and his music before but the timing just never made sense. Sk3tch has been creating for a while now and has had the opportunity to work with many industry names while developing a career in which he can live off of music.
Recently, the rapper made some comments about #Boston music platforms and shared some of his opinions on what we should be covering— which naturally garnered some attention. One of said platforms is our beloved #TMTV and needless to say a lot of us didn’t like what he had to say. So it’s about time we spoke about amongst other things. Join #CharlieMaSheen & #KASH as they host Ayo Sk3tch along side some of his peers who didn’t fully join the conversation. We spoke about Sk3tch’s career, upbringing, life in #LA, his recent comments, AND SO MUCH MORE‼️ We also wrapped up with another #RedCupsAndRap freestyle completely off the dome (pause) 🔥🔥🔥

This week we’re back with another instant classic podcast with our guy the #ManWithThePan — GRIMEY GURT‼️ After recently dropping his latest project “It’s Time”, it’s only right we bring back the guy who arguably had the best freestyle on the #RedCupsAndRap segment last year to talk about his work. Gurty has been one of the street’s favorite for a while now and we’re happy to see him putting in the hours to share his story with the city and beyond.
Timing in life and death is always one of those things we cant  control but even after just sending his grandmother on her farewell earlier that day, Grimey Gurt still pulled up on us at #TheGarage to have a talk with us. Join #CharlieMaSheen & #KASH as they host this conversation w/ the #RoxburyStateOfMind honcho about his last year within music, business, and also more of his story. We touch on topics like losing motivation to create, street politics, who won the #KendrickLamar vs #Drake rap beef, AND SO MUCH MORE‼️ We also wrap up the night with another freestyle to the “Like That” instrumental from Grimey Gurt and had his bro Tip Hustle deliver his second freestyle on the platform as well! Hip Hop at its core has always been about the music touching the streets. Not in a negative or criminal way but literally just that; touching the people (No Diddy) and creating from the sounds that were given to them. Thanks to our guy King Brickz, we were able to hear about a young artist who is doing just that in a dope way — Frank Beats‼️ Frank is currently a Berklee College of Music student who is primarily a producer and is merging the sounds of Rock & Hip-Hop as its historically been done but this time its been done in a way that we havent seen before. Just about 8-9 months ago the producer/guitarist started his “GUITAR SESSION” series on YouTube and has been able to connect with a lot of notable artists by traveling from state to state to create unique pieces with the artists rapping over his guitar sounds. In under a year he’s been able to amass over 1,000,000 views on his YouTube channel alone‼️ With this kind of work ethic and talent, everybody needs to tap in with this young man and see what he’s been able to do, ALL WHILE STILL GOING TO SCHOOL.
Frank Beats also brought his friend DiorTheProducer with him for this sit down, who we found out about from a recent #YGizzle collab project to tell about his college athlete dropout story to now being able to live full time as a music producer as well. King Brickz was the glue to this whole situation as he’s been telling us about Frank since last August and is very excited to see where his platform can take Boston as a whole. This was a dope and fun conversation as we jumped around a few different topics.
Join #CharlieMaSheen & #KASH as they host this one w/ these 3 artists detailing Frank’s origin in music, how he started his Guitar Session series, linking up w/ Brickz, how creating with different people should have no biases, AND SO MUCH MORE‼️ Brickz also drops a dope freestyle to what Frank coined as the FIRST EVER #RedCupsAndRock session, seemingly integrating our two platforms effortlessly. The boys who rigged the 2023 #BMAs, CHIZZ & #KASH ARE BACK THIS WEEK for another sit down with one of #Boston’s hardest working names when it comes to rap— EXITFAME‼️ This time he brought a friend he met on his journey; the Motivational Speaker and Spoken Word artist who also turned his life around after a rough addiction stint, Mathematics! After a 1 week break and #CharlieMaSheen traveling for the last podcast, it almost felt like a reunion at #TheSoundLab with the amount of love in the building. Coming off of his latest project release for “Exit Hell”, EXITFAME makes his way back to #CWTFB to talk that talk regarding the body of work.
Which this being Fame’s 3rd appearance on the podcast, we didn’t focus much on his “From a Beamer to a bus pass” story but this time we tracked his progress and focus shift since his last appearance. We also discussed his distaste for the rating his most recent effort received from our platform, work ethic and how that can breed haters who can’t stand to see you win, rebranding, Mathematics’s story and how they got to link up, AND SO MUCH MORE‼️ #CharlieMaSheen & KASH launch their merch line with the two tee’s they’re wearing so DM FOR ALL ORDERS as well. Lastly you know we couldn’t let EXITFAME leave without delivering one of this years HARDEST #RedCupsAndRap FREESTYLES 🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥 DONT MISS OUT ON THIS ONE‼️ PODCAST AUDIO OUT NOW ON ALL PODCAST STREAMING SERVICES & THE FREESTYLE IS LOVE ON OUR YOUTUBE CHANNEL — TAP INNNNN‼️

The late great Maya Angelou once left us with one of many great quotes “You can’t really know where you’re going until you know where you have been.” That statement speaks volumes with this week’s guest‼️ We welcome 2 deeply rooted staples in the Hip Hop community Jeff 2Timez & Deejay Dex‼️ This conversation has been well overdue but what was said on this was RIGHT ON TIME💪🏾
If you don’t know Jeff’s story— SHAME ON YOU for real but it dates back to the early days of The #AlmightyRSO when the DJ was essentially the star of the show and consisted of MCs E Devious, Tony Rhome, the late MC Rock, and of course Ray Dog later known as #Benzino ‼️ With a resume as lengthy as that which also includes producing credit for Hip Hop greats like #Prodigy #Nas and many others, we knew that we had a lot to cover with this one which is why we called the Lovely #LeticiaJ to come help us land this plane! Deejay Dex’s 15+ years of experience in this city is also one to be studied with being one of the leading voices on the airwaves and plugging the jails into his #LiquidMix and becoming the flagship of #BigCityFM ‼️ THIS ISNT ONE YOU WANT TO SNOOZE ON — SO HEAD TO #ApplePodcasts #Spotify etc RIGHT NOW TO PRESS PLAY ON EPISODE 215‼️

Content creation is honestly the reason most of us even care to go on social media platforms these days. The people who are creative enough to keep their followers engaged and hungry for more are the ones who last in that space but often get overlooked as true artists. Within our city we’ve taken a liking to a guy who has been keeping us entertained for a while now on multiple levels — a director/videographer/engineer Harvardseye! Of course he doesnt do all of this alone so he brought a couple of his teammates with him; #Stoopie & #OGBurnaBoy to break down exactly what they do. If you’ve seen their skits online then you know for sure this was an entertaining podcast thats filled with a lot of laughs n wild moments 🤣🤣🤣 FROM START TO FINISH‼️ They even wanted to show us their versatility & showed up for 2 #RedCupsAndRap freestyles‼️ GO ON YOUTUBE NOW & PRESS PLAY ‼️
