In this episode, we jump into the 2009 movie The Princess and The Frog. Anika Noni Rose provides the voice for Tiana and Bruno Campos is our Prince Naveen. As noted previously, we want to look at this movie as though it were a Dungeons and Dragons game, identifying our adventuring party, their classes, goals, and setbacks.

We’ll examine their interactions with different NPCs and how these advance the story, and we will analyze the overall conflict and final resolution of the film. We’ll cover the encounters, whether those are combat, role-playing, or problem-solving. And, of course, we’ll spend some time on any quest rewards or magical items that make an appearance.

In Episode 1, we focus on the 2013 hit, Frozen. This film tells the story of two sisters, Elsa and Anna.

Fearless optimist Anna (voice of Kristen Bell) sets off on an epic journey—teaming up with rugged mountain man Kristoff (voice of Jonathan Groff) and his loyal reindeer Sven—to find her sister Elsa (voice of Idina Menzel), whose icy powers have trapped the kingdom of Arendelle in eternal winter. Encountering Everest-like conditions, mystical trolls and a hilarious snowman named Olaf, Anna and Kristoff battle the elements in a race to save the kingdom.
