When starting a business after a long career, it is possible you possess multiple skills that enable you to have a profitable coaching or consulting business.
While coaching and consulting is often confused as the same type of business, what a coach does is very different than a consultant.

If you are wondering if you need a business plan for your online professional service business, the answer is YES!
Business planning is an important part of starting any business.
Yet, so many new entrepreneurs bypass the planning process to randomly start online businesses they hear about on social media or YouTube.
Unfortunately failing to create a business plan for your business usually results in disaster. Afterall, you can't outline where you're going if you don't have a plan to get there.
While ultimately your goal should be to complete a comprehensive business plan, creating a one page business plan is a great place to start.
In Episode 70, I discuss how to create a simplified business plan that you can complete in 45 minutes or less.
And so much more!!!

Although professional service providers have the potential to earn enough in their business to replace their 9-to-5 income, this business model is not a first choice for new entrepreneurs.
After working with so many entrepreneurs over the years, I realized people don't initially leap into the professional service provider business because they devalue their expertise.
Another big factor is people buy into the hype of all of the business ideas they hear about online that promise you'll be earning six-figures in no time.
In Episode 68, I discuss:

Having a mindset that enables you to navigate the ups, downs, and disappointments that go along with starting a business requires work.
If you're coming into entrepreneurship from traditional employment, corporate detox should definitely be a priority.
Considering you are preparing yourself to embark on a new journey, you need to let go of self defeating thoughts and habits.
This is particularly the case if you're coming from a toxic workplace.
In this episode of Da Boss Experience Podcast, my special guest Jenee Jackson and I discuss:

Helping entrepreneurs visualize business success is the perfect topic to kick off Season 4 of Da Boss Experience Podcast.
It's long been said that anyone that has ever been uber successful in business has a vision board.
When most people think about vision boards, they're imagining a bunch of pictures plastered on a poster board...
But vision boards are actually a powerful planning and manifestation tool for your business and life.
Afterall, it's hard to achieve something (if not impossible) if you can't visualize it. Yet that is how so many people go about the operation of their business.
Vision boards are an intentional effort to help you form a picture or a visualization of what you are trying to achieve.
In this episode of Da Boss Experience Podcast, I am discussing

When people decide to start a business, they are inundated with the many business ideas they discover online and on social media.
They don't realize that many of the ideas they hear about have low-profit margins and will never produce enough revenue to replace their 9-to-5 income.
A professional service business (coaching, consulting, done-for-you, etc...) has the potential for scalability and large profit margins when developed correctly.
You must know what skills and expertise you have so you can build a business around it.
This is a Bonus Episode of a Live interview with La'Quita Monley of La'Quita's Toolbox Podcast. This interview is split into three parts. This is part three. In this segment of the interview, I share "When Is The Right Time To Hire A Business Coach?".
As a reminder, new episodes of Da Boss Experience Podcast return January 31st 2023. I am releasing tons of value in the form of Bonus Episodes during this hiatus period.
So, be sure to tune in for future episodes.
