A space symphony named after a beautiful crater on the asteroid Vesta...which happens to share the same name as my daughter!

Five synths, all played by me. Three from Novation Launchkey, and two from Sunrizer (strings, and space sine).

The Southern aurora - the Aurora Australis - pictured near Lion Rock, Tasmania.

Most of the track was created during a long weekend in Beechworth, Victoria. Guitar and final mix completed back home in Melbourne.

6th October, 2019 - I created this one a few weeks ago, forgot about, then played around with it a bit more (mainly adding some special effects and adjusting the mix).

I hope you like it!

We're definitely not in Kansas anymore...

I had fun creating this strange alien soundscape, I hope you enjoy it too.

All synths played by me in Logic Pro X.

For decades we humans have mostly sent robotic probes into space to do our space exploration for us, with the exception of the Apollo space program.

In the coming decades humans will again explore space. But space is a harsh environment, and maybe the future truly belongs to Robonaut.

The best gift of all...

This is one of my Apple loop compositions. Piano, strings, and flute. In this track I'm using only green instrument loops (as opposed to blue recorded loops, or drummer loops), which allowed me to copy and paste the piano instrument loops into the various string and flute instrument tracks, and so the string or flute instrument will 'play along' with the piano instrument track. I hope that makes sense!

Free download...a gift of love...

Milana Zilnik https://soundcloud.com/milanazilnik made her wonderful piano track available as an open collaboration, to which I've added bass guitar, (soft) lead guitar, glockenspiel and scattered drumming.

Inspired by the mythic fantasy novel 'Mythago Wood' by English author Robert Holdstock.

This is one of my Apple Loop mixes / compositions. Mandolin, acoustic guitar strumming, and drums.

A fast and furious fusion of Western dubstep and Indian traditional instruments or... Indian Dubstep!

I got the title from an online Indian response to the question "Do Indians like dubstep?" The woman that responded said that Indian elders would call it "messed up music" but that, yes, Indians like dubstep.

Best played loud.

Another of my Apple loop mixes / compositions.

Mostly Japanese instruments blended with timpani, a harp, and a few synths.

Another of my Apple loop mixes / composition.
