  • Square Hammer (Ghost cover) - with Smitty
This track is dedicated to my friend Smitty of Pagans Pentacles and a Dragon https://soundcloud.com/paganspentaclesandadragon. He created a cover version of Ghost's "Square Hammer" which you can find here:
    https://soundcloud.com/paganspentaclesandadragon/ghost-square-hammer-one-rhythm-part
Smitty's version is uses the bass and drum backing track from here youtu.be/OyYA8FlfBd0
Smitty then added the Hagstrom guitar.
He mentioned that he'd like to see some keyboards added to the track, so I thought I'd oblige and I added two keyboard tracks.

Image modified from: Nameless Ghouls - Coachella 2013.
I hid some plastic water bottles in front of the keyboard player's feet, and added "dacca" to the keyboard and "Smitty" to the guitar. That's right...we're not really in the band!

  • Skating On Thin Ice
I was inspired by the recent move about Tonya Harding - "I, Tonya". One of my Apple loop compositions, always fun to do!

  • The Terror In The Darkness
I hope you enjoy my latest horror soundtrack. I was imagining a party exploring darks tunnels deep underground. Sure, they were scared, and they were cautious...the place was really creeping them out.
But they did not expect the terror that dwells in the darkness...

  • The Hall Of Bright Carvings
I was thinking of Meryvn Peake's Gormenghast books, and The Hall Of Bright Carvings.
A hall of brightly decorated carvings each traditionally given at an annual festival by the local populace to the ruler of Gormenghast...and then stored in a vast dusty hall and forgotten until next year...

  • Mimsy Were The Borogoves
Lots of Techno beats and a range of quirky synthesisers made me think of Lewis Carroll (pictured, circa 1856).
Don't forget to feed emotions to the borogoves or they get all mimsy!

  • Night Pulse
As it developed this track acquired a deep dark pulse...hence the title.
Worth listening to with headphones to hear that deep pulse.

  • Caretakers Of The Earth (Humans Made Us)
Imagine a time in the far future, and Earth is a paradise...a sanctuary for plants and wildlife. The humans are all gone, and their last act was to commission an army of robots to care for the Earth.
This is the future fantasy I had in mind as I created this track. Synthesisers was definitely the best way to capture that future fantasy feel.
    I hope you like it.

Something a little different for me, a brass instrumental.
