It sure has been for me...and it's only Wednesday! Other folks are experiencing this as well this week. What about you?
The Kyle Rittenhouse trial is...oh, forget it. It is what it is.
I'm into a lot of things at the moment (as usual), so check out the imagery here.
I'll be back next week for even more.
You guys noticing stuff not stocked out there? I have.
Latest spins and more here.
See you next week!
Quick special report about my recent viewing of the new Dune film. Go forth, at once, and view it in all of it's glory. Sure, you could watch it at home on HBOMax (I probably will a few times now), but it was shot in IMAX...go see it on a big big screen people.
So, yeah, that's my puggo Dolly in the album art. I mean, she is a black dog after all.
Bugged a little this week by people's willingness to forget we're all just Americans (and humans really). Got a story here for you about that.
Into all kinds of stuff. Here's the latest pics to prove it.
Catch you kids next week!
Okay, so I'm skipping the hundredth episode for now and we'll circle back around and pick it up later. Logistics.
So, this is an episode done in the original style. First, what's bugging me. Well, just listen.
What I'm into...it's a lot. Here's links to some albums I talk about.
3rd Bass - The Cactus Album
Leon Bridges - Gold-Diggers Sound
Jon Batiste - We Are
INXS - Listen Like Thieves
Steely Dan - Northeast Corridor Live Album
Here's the pictures of the other stuff I talked about...

The video of the Australian dude in there is a Cameo I got for my wife for our anniversary. He's an actor who played a character named Brett on a show, Kath and Kim, that we love. Pricey gift, but unique.
If you've listened, you'll know what the title refers to. Of course, the episode art kinda gives it away as well.

Sorry it was so long between episodes. I've been overwhelmed with stuff in real life.
This is a good recap and discussion on what's up. I will have more for you soon.
Promise
What else is there to say?
Well, a lot actually.
So, we had our super long fun vacation. It was incredible. Here's a load of action pics/videos.
One more interview to secure for episode 100 and I've got some videos on the way as well.
Enjoy!
P.S. Thanks to all the morons who wouldn't get vaccinated and thus made it slightly a pain even though you've had months to get this taken care of.
Oh boy, not too awful much to say here. A short special report recording on the way to and from an early (like silly early) excursion to The Vinyl Underground at 7th Heaven for drop 2 of Record Store Day 2021.
So, long story short, Record Store Day came about in 2007 when a group of independent record stores got together to promote the sale of vinyl. By then, streaming had overcome CDs for the preferred music format and records were a thing of the past. Personally, I'd converted over to CDs way back when and slowly moved over to mp3s and later streaming for everything also. Then, about 2.5 years ago, my son and I were cleaning up downstairs and he came across my original copy of Dead Kennedys - Frankenchrist. After making sure his fragile young eyes didn't take in the included poster (yep, I have the entire original thing with the order form inside for merch and music from Tentacle Records as well), I found my Sony turntable nearby and we hooked it up. I had like 4 records or so at that point. Today? 298. It's an illness.
Anyways, I talk a little bit about some things I'm interested in before going in and then I end up kinda going against my original thoughts and going all in. Now, I am the proud owner of the G Collection (Box set of all studio albums from Gorillaz) and a pretty great Czarface album as well. While I skipped out on the Dee Gees and a couple others I discuss, I'm happy to be one of the 980 folks who scored the entire Gorillaz studio catalog in one buy. Pics of all that's been happening are right here.
I do carry on a bit about the latest Dad Snark Review videos I've done too. Check them out if you get a chance. I review a Portable Air Cooler and a USB-C Wireless Lav Mic set.
More to come soon kids!
Well, I've been away awhile. Yeah, I know.
So, I'm so close to the end with Episode 100, you can probably smell it. No, that's not waste...that's the episode.

That's all for now kids. More on the horizon. I just need to record another few interviews and edit it all together. Bear with me.
