Suggested Pairing: A nice Chianti (prefereably without someone's liver)
Today we take our first step into the "old world" of wine.... only to realize that is a VERY confusing place. Turns out Italy has their own regions, AND their own varitals. WOOF!
Needless to say, a little education in this department was much needed.
Be sure to stick around for the part where I literally make up my own wine varietal when my dad asks me a question.
As always, it would mean SO MUCH if you left a review on itunes!!

Suggest pairing: Any wine (that you can afford) from Napa Valley, California
Oh jeez, we got quite an episode today. My dad references both Stranger Things and The Grateful Dead, and I make a fool of myself, re: "Can you see the ocean from Napa Valley?"
Thanks to Vinoski Winery in Pittsburgh for sending us the Zin we drank on today's episode!
Also I edited this one a lot less than usual (because I was making breakfast while editing), so prepare for more "um"s and "uh"s. You can take it.

Suggested pairing: A bottle of bubbly without a year (Yes, Andre counts)
New game - take a sip every time my dad says that wine critics "have no clue what they're talking about"
Ever wonder about that number on the wine bottle? No - not the alcohol content. The other number - the year!
We are breaking down (well, more like skimming the surface) on what makes a "good year" a "good year," and why "fine wine" is aged for so darn long.
Also, if the Sinatra family could not sue us, that would be cool.

Suggested Pairing: Muscadet
Fresh off spending $51 on the "cheapest" bottle of wine on wine list in Pittsburgh, Madeline is begging her Dad to offer some advice on how to read a restaurant wine list.
Most of us are like, "Erm, the cheapest bottle please," but it doesn't need to be like that! We are going to explain how.
As always, please subscribe, rate, and review. PLEASE rate and review. Now offering shoutouts on the show to anyone who gives us a review.

Cheers!
Suggested Pairing: Yellowtail, Barefoot, or any other wine from planet earth
Listen to my dad say "dem sea breezes," and me sound like an idiot when my dad asks me to describe how the wine taste.
All this and more on Episode 4: Location, Location, Location.
This is a big one guys!
