Part 1: Seth talks honestly about transitioning into parenthood after many years travelling around the world as a free spirit with his partner and now wife and Mother Katie, the "main parent" to their two young children. Not that Seth isn't parenting but he's often working 7 days a week running his Nelson Tiny Houses business with over 40,000 followers on Youtube (check it out: https://www.youtube.com/c/nelsontinyhouses). Seth is starting to find balance, spending more time camping with the family but it's not always been easy. Like so many Dads (and Moms) jumping into the ocean of parenthood, Seth has been treading water while dealing with a fountain of emotions that have tested his relationships and his cool exterior. He freely admits to not being the best planner and the real life struggles of keeping on top of finances while building a successful business, while running from the bureaucracy of it all! Overall, Seth is a passionate Dad who, with his wife, has managed to carve out a beautiful wholesome life for his kids and he (and his wife) are shining examples that all the hard work pays off!

Judson didn't always want a kid but when he and his partner decided they wanted to start a family they struggled to get pregnant. After a few dark years which included consulting with Doctors, dealing with fertility clinics, and ultimately finding out about embryo adoption, they finally found a path to becoming parents. Part 1: Location, location, location. Living in Squamish, Canada's climbing mecca in the Sea to Sky corridor, just north of Vancouver, means that Jeremy gets to climb 3 or 4 times a week. Not bad for a full time Dad that works as a teacher. Nestled between the Coastal Mountains and the Pacific Ocean with easy access to endless mountain and ocean pursuits, this is prime real estate which means a busy life to pay the bills and keep up with the family while Jeremy and his wife-ish person Mandoline, work conflicting schedules. Sometimes.

As more people escape the city in search of a better quality of life, the lure of the mountains means a sea of newcomers which has increased the cost of living. An Englishman living on the borders of Wales raising two young boys with his wife, reflects on parenting through a pandemic with both parents working full time. Guy is the Executive Director of Mountain Training England and as an ex teacher, Guy is ready for any challenge involving teenagers but he's no expert with babies.
