Dadgum and Reekus Review a Movie

MURRAY!!!!  Get the episode MURRAY!!!  It's World War II and all we can think about are the backwoods of New Jersey.  In the time of America's greatest crisis, accents and charisma carried the fighter pilots of the Pacific to an unlikely victory over the Japanese.  Dadgum and Reekus take a moment to talk about Midway and the characters that do their best to bring the story to life.  Do you like emotional moments that resolve themselves in less than 2 minutes, do you like unfinished story lines that are never referenced again, are you a fan of battleships Tokyo Drifting across a turbulent ocean?  If so...this is definitely the movie for you.

Welcome ghoulies and ghosties, long leggity beasties to a special Halloween edition of Dadgum and Reekus!!!  And by special, we mean a normal episode...and by Halloween edition, we mean 24th episode.  Tatum's missing again, the posters and milk cartons don't seem to be working!  The boys (and Maria) take a look at Zombieland's second installment, Double Tap.  Find out how wet Luke's eyes can get, a conversation surrounding the zombie genre, and why Gordon wasn't able to love this as much as we wanted to.  Boom!

Boo!

There's a ghost in the machine!!!  At some point in the episode, Luke gets transported to a lonely gas station bathroom for about a minute, so we apologize for the sound quality.  But on his fantastic adventure, we discover that 2 bad Will Smith jokes don't make a good one.  In this, the 23rd episode of our podcast, the boys tackle a movie over 20 years in the making.  See if the 90s can still make a good movie in the 20-teens!  Want to see if 20+ year old high school students are still relevant?  We got that.  Want to see if a 51 year old man can do a push up resulting in a 3 foot jump?  We got that.  Want to hear a small dog tossing a day around in the background?  Oh you bet your butt, we got that too.  It's Dadgum and Reekus unleashed!!!  The girls couldn't make this episode...

Bring out the clowns and frowns as Dadgum and Reekus take on the most controversial movie of all time...Joker!  See if they can prove the insanity, watch as the tread the waters of a movie so dangerous it shouldn't be shown in theaters.  Psychologists (somewhere) quoted (probably officially) that (if) you see (watch) this movie (Joker) then you (being yourself) should only do so (not to spend more money, but truly for your own safety) with a friend!  That's right folks!!!  It's the first movie to require a buddy system!  Listen as Dadgum and Reekus explore the gritty world of Gotham City and the fantastical dancing skills of the Clown Prince of Crime, Joker!

Perhaps a cup of tea to calm your nerves?  We have to sit down!!!  It's time to get British on this very special episode of Dadgum and Reekus.  Guest star Rhonda "Pinky Poppin'" Waag joins the boys in a discussion of manners, scandal, and chores.  Plenty of surprises in this episode as we push the royal limits on our thoughts and comments.  Plus, hear a little something special about holding doors open for others, getting stabbed with forks, and the demographic of one of the most highly anticipated movies of the fall.  And just to add a little flavor...a sip of tea with a splash of peach!
