Dadgum Nerds

Ep. 015 | Most of The Dads like Harry Potter, but Trip and Kevin are a couple of holdouts. (psh - muggles, amiright?)

In this episode, Andrew and Zach take up their wands in an effort to sell them and sort them into HP’s rabid fan base of the magical Wizarding World! (or at least try to in between Trip and Kevin constantly going down rabbit holes)

Also, Zach hosts an often befuddling game of "Spell or Disease" that you won't want to miss!

Ep. 013 | We’re talking Sci-Fi! Zach, Andrew, and Kevin, convene to talk about their favorite but often overlooked Sci-fi picks.  Some new, some old (because Kevin). Everything from movies, TV, books, and bizarre cartoons that just shouldn’t work but somehow, just somehow, they do.

Plus, a new version of Dadgum Trivia punctuated by lots of “B” and “THUNDARRRR” thrown in for good measure. Catch it!

Ep. 011 | It's live action Mulan 2020! After “opening weekend” on Disney+, the Dads sat down to share our thoughts about the direction Disney took with the remake.

What did we like? What changed from the animated version? Will Kevin finally agree that Mulan is a princess? Probably not.

Plus, we play another stirring round of Dadgum Feud and answer a few questions from our loyal fans!

Ep. 010 | One topic to rule them all - Lord of the Rings! Aaron and Zach are hardcore geeks about this stuff . . . and they sort of forget Brett and Andrew are even there.

But The Dads get into the weeds of their hopes and dreams for the newly announced LOTR show on Amazon! Thoughts on the casting, how the characters should be portrayed, defining traits of the Lord of the Rings universe, and more!

Plus, we answer some fan-submitted questions and play a game you won't want to miss! (https://antidepressantsortolkien.now.sh/)

Ep. 009 | We discuss the major reveals of the DC Fandome2020! New titles, new movies, new games, and all kinds of geeky goodness. Needless to say, most of the Dads are big fans of the announcements!

As usual, Brett overthinks some of the topics, Kevin gets grumpy, and Trip has some choice commentary on Ezra Miller‘s questionable running technique.

Ep. 008 | This week we “Marvel” at the MCU and phase 4. We chat so much about the possibilities that our mouths are “Thor”. After we “assemble” our dreams of what we’d like to see we chat over who has the best ideas. And Dadgum Feud returns to see if Andrew can hold his own as reigning champion….She Hulk.

Did I do that right, Zach?

Ep. 007 | Beam us up, Scotty, because The Dads are talking Star Trek!

What is the core of the franchise? Where should it go next? Oh, and Brett just has to get some stuff off his chest about space orchids.

Plus, a new game hosted by Zach with plenty of puns and an answer that just might actually make you LOL!

Enjoy, fellow nerds! Live long and . . . eh, you know the rest!

Ep. 006 | Princess Pandemonium Part 2! Today, we’re tackling the topic of our favorite modern Disney princesses.

This wasn’t as deep a well to draw from as the classic Disney discussion, but in a few ways, that actually made it more fun! It was interesting to see what each dad’s standard was for a good movie, but it got heated when they tread into their criteria for what qualifies as a "princess" movie!

No spoilers, but there’s at least one pick that made some of us hit the ceiling!
