Dadgum Nerds

Ep. 005 | Enjoy a Disney deep dive on today’s episode of Dadgum Nerds! The dad’s rank their favorite - wait for it - Disney princess movies!

No, we’re not creepy, we’re just nerds. These are movies that we all grew up with and now that we have kids, those films have gotten a second wind because they’re playing all the time in our houses. So yeah, we’re pretty well versed in Disney.

Brett, Trip, Andrew, and Kevin all came together and ranked their top 3 choices based on their own individual standards and everyone agreed with one another and the podcast was over in 15 minutes and they all lived happily ever after…..yeah right.

At times it was a knock down, drag out, bare knuckle brawl over what constitutes a Disney Princess. Either way, the dad’s had way more fun than should be legal! Oh yeah, and somehow, they managed to work poop into the discussion.

Ep. 003 | Ever wondered what Batman’s impression of a seagull would sound like? You'll find out!

In this episode, The Dads are talking DC - specifically, the DCEU. We think these cinematic installments need a shot in the arm, so we discuss what would get us excited to watch the next DC movie!

Trip wants the Warner Brothers warlocks to disperse, Andrew wants to sack Snyder, and Kevin wants them to ditch trying to be so different from the MCU. And Brett? Well…Brett’s pitch to revamp the DCEU falls apart. Fast.

Add to this another stirring game of Dadgum Feud, plus your weekly order of dad joke, and you'll be sure to enjoy those extra groans on the side!

Ep. 002 | When asked, “What makes a Star Wars movie a 'Star Wars' movie?,” the Dads (namely Zach), had opinions!

Now, this whole discussion could have ended in flames like the Lars homestead; but to their credit, the Dads handled their differences with quite a bit of grace and finesse! Even so, their respective passions bubbled over at times. For instance, when Kevin shared his thoughts, he asked not to be interrupted before he finished.

He was. A lot.

Aaron put it best, "I’m not opposed to NEW characters. I’m opposed to new BAD characters.” The team covers what they like, what they don’t like, and most importantly, how to fix it. Spoilers: None of their plans involve Jar Jar Binks.

And the Dadgum Feud, of course, covered various Star Wars topics and Aaron making fart noises doing his best R2-D2 impression. Hilarity ensues.

Hey, if you don’t believe it, check it out for yourself! Can't be any worse than Star Wars Episode II!

Ep. 001 | Minivans, and Pirates, and John Cena, oh my! In this episode, The Dads tackle the question, "What Should Disney+ Make Next?" Multiple fandoms are explored, ranging from Star Wars to Pixar, and there is even an idea for a Princess Bride/Doctor Who/Pirates of the Caribbean mashup that you won't want to miss!
