Dads Drinking Bourbon

It's now 2020, and after a very small break for the holidays, we're back and taking one more quick look back on 2019 before we move into the new year. Although we already had a year end show, we thought there were just too many things going on we didn't want to miss! Cheers y'all and Happy New Year.

The Dads go on location at the Whiskey House in Nashville with our good friends Andrew and the one and only JB to drink some good whiskey and discuss 2019. Don't worry, we know we missed some important ones that we will be sure to bring up soon, but this is just a fun night with great people talking whiskey honestly.

The Dads get some alone time in the studio to catch up and talk some whiskey. We thank the folks over at Barrell for sending us over some samples of their latest bourbon batches, 20 & 21, as well as some of their American Vatted Malt Whiskey to try. As always, we give an open and honest review and hope you enjoy.

Mike Paladini and Danny Polise from Penelope Bourbon stop by the studio to not only tell the incredible story of how Mike had an idea to create a bourbon when he found out the news he was having a daughter, Penelope, but also to have an incredibly candid conversation about their brand and decision making as your starting off a new label. You'll want to listen.

For the past two years, we have donated a charity tasting for St. Jude's big event in Middle TN and for the past two years, Nick and his friends have placed the winning bid to have a great night with the Dads drinking whiskey. We hope you just sit back and enjoy this conversation between us and a group that got to try some pours they don't get every day. Either way, there were a lot of laughs.
