WE needed a pallet cleanser after last week so we decided to romp down memory lane with some good ole fashioned SEGA! Holy moly it was a trip. We are so spoiled with how easy games are these day... it. was. not. easy.
We never thought we'd find another DARYL..... and yet here we are. This 'movie' had all the topical mid-90s humor you'd expect from the mind of Pauly Shore.
This movie might be peak Goldblum. A horror movie in its truest sense. Amazing and weird and terrifying and gross and a cautionary tale to always clean your room before you close the door of your particle transporter doohicky.
Maximum Effort by Steven King in his directorial debut..... but appliances killing people and trucks driving around a diner in rural North Carolina just. is. not. scary.
This one is all the late 80s you can handle. So many accents that don't add up.... so much brooding from Keifer. Maybe the whole movie should have been shot down in a blaze of glory.
Pete totally conflated this one with the sequel (which he claims is better than this one... but we remain skeptical)
All of the campy, silly, fun action from the early 90s in this gem. Kevin really brings home the Bacon in this one.

About Dad's Movie Night
From the publisher's feed
Three dads watching movies from our youth and trying to figure out if they hold up, should they be rebooted, and... should we force our kids to eventually watch them.
