Dad's Movie Night episodes

  • DMN E107 - Navy Seals
Soooooo.... Pete has to Mea Culpa on this one. He totally thought he posted this episode about the most bro Navy Seals who ever wore tight pink shorts.
Also: Charlie Sheen is sooooooo winning the authentic drunk fratboy look. It's almost like he's not even acting at all....

  • DMN E105 - Who Framed Roger Rabbit?
Bonkers. I have no words for what we just experienced. It was amazing, shocking, twisted, charming, weird, terrific... ok I guess I do have a few words to describe it.
But, I also have a ton of questions...

  • DMN E104 - A Muppet Christmas Carol
We have questions. .. . . lots of questions in this heart warming adaptation of Charles Dickens's classic.
What is a best dressing robe? You're supposed to have more than one? Where did Gonzo's grappling hook grab on to in the ghost of Christmas past segment?
    It was a wild ride!

  • DMN E102 - Tombstone
Grab your six-shooters and Stetsons, cuz we watched Tombstone! We took great pleasure in watching Val Kilmer deliver his best performance of all time while Michael Biehn chewed the scenery. Nothing gets you in the mood for a shootout like this movie. We suggest having some Nerf guns in hand to recreate the iconic scenes!

  • DMN E101 - The Matrix
Back from our holiday break with this gem that is somehow 20 years old?!?!?!?! Holy crap. We're not old, you are!
Neo proves that a nice jacket and a sweet pair of shades are all you need to keep it rad.

  • DMN E100 - Masters of the Universe
Our 100th episode! Holy crap! Thank you to everyone for all the highs (and lows) of this podcast. Here's to the next 100!
I don't even know what to say about this movie. I wish I knew where Gwildor was.... I wish I knew why He-Man kept losing clothing over the course of the film. I wish I knew why Evil-Lyn had those steely eyes....
I have lots of questions. The movie didn't disappoint, it was cheesy, creamy, terrible, confusing.... basically everything that Brian promised.
.... and I never want to watch it again.

About Dad's Movie Night

From the publisher's feed

Three dads watching movies from our youth and trying to figure out if they hold up, should they be rebooted, and... should we force our kids to eventually watch them.
