With 13 podcast in the can, I decided to go live on Wisdom App and record a fresh episode instead. I know it makes no sense. That is just how my brain works sometimes. 

Today is a short episode. Just a few things that were on my mind. 

First, 3 days are down in the new year. Have you quite your goals and dreams for 2023 yet? Seems crazy, but some will look at any setback and be done. Wave the white flag until next year.

I am not a fan of new year's resolutions. I believe you should be continually adjusting throughout the year regardless of what the calendar says the date is today. 

Also, I quickly run through a couple clients and how their perceptions of the market differ. I have been on a big kick about perception being your reality. I don't see me slowing down on this point anytime soon.

On another note, swag samples are starting to roll in. I expect the site to be live in the next few weeks for Dad's Rules and a limited selection of Splash Program apparel.

When you go to an amusement park, the most exciting rides are always the roller coaster. The ups, downs, twist and turns, whether right side up or upside down are exhilarating.

 In contrast, the Ferris wheel is more of a laid back romantic ride, taken at a leisurely pace up into the sky and back down where you get off and continue your stroll through the park. 

In the business world, the roller coaster is chaos. It is a living nightmare. One day you are riding the financial highs of your genius and the next, you question why you ever got into sales. 

The Ferris wheel is where it is at. You get a new client on as another one is getting off. Sure, it doesn't look sexy, but it is the way to create long term success and a lasting career. 

On today's episode, we dive into the roller coast VS the Ferris wheel. As we enter 2023, this may be the most important podcast you could take to heart as you look to be a better version of yourself in the year to come.

So, we are finally taking a card from the intimacy deck and talking about sex. The question is, What are some ways we can make sure our sex life and intimacy stays in tact when life gets busy?

Lots of relationships faulter because people get busy with life and forget that they still need to keep busy in the bedroom.

To get the show back to lighter moments, we also talk about our favorite colors. This is a lot tougher than it seems for one of us.

I did a reading of it on Wisdom and decided to share the prologue with you all. No corrections. No edits. That is kind of how it goes down on Wisdom where everything is live!

However, I think you will enjoy it. The follow up has been a long time coming and we are down to a few things that still need completed before the release. That said, I can see the light at the end of the tunnel.

This episode will cover 3 takeaways from Dominate Your Real Estate Career Conference that I was blessed to attend and speak at. It is a video that I was sending out to agents, but felt the value applied to anyone in sales. 

You're going to have to work. Money isn't going to necessarily come as easily. You may actually be required to go on a few more appointments. 

You need to be consistent in your system. What do I mean? You need to be presenting your client's a proposal in a professional way that is duplicatable. How else will you know if it is working or not? 

How is your pitch? Do you stand out above and apart from the competition?  Do you have a solid value proposition?

How is your marketing? Are you making the mistake of cutting it or are you doubling, tripling or quadrupling it instead?

We are at an episode a day for the longest months of the year!

On this episode, we discuss perception. 

Whatever you believe about anything is a truth. It's your truth. It may not be the truth, but it is definitely a truth. Once you have new information, then we can see if you were right or completely off base. 

What I have noticed for myself in the real estate world is that I could look at things from a negative, everything is bad, no one is buying, homes aren't selling scenario. Or, I could instead look at it from the positive, I am busy. I have to be super managed, I need to hire people approach.

Look, are either the truth? Who really cares! There is only one of these that will create a mindset of abundance and lead me towards any possibility of success.
