Hello Listeners!
Late Wednesday post this week as a long weekend put Tim and I into relaxation mode.
Today, we look at my encounter with an aggressive door-to-door salesman (I think that's what he was), and point out the foolishness of me answering the door (with no peephole) while holding my baby. Not a good scenario for a fight.
Fortunately it was all verbal (except for him shoving in the door), and demonstrated a very important lesson. It exposed the glaring need I had to get back into martial arts for not only refreshing my fighting skills, but gaining confidence that I could handle a situation if it presented itself.
Biggest lesson of the day, walk away from a fight if you can, it's not worth the injury, the potential harm, and all the garbage that comes with it. But for the moments you can't walk away, be prepared. Start now, and whether it's tomorrow, next week, next year, or never, you won't have to worry what will happen if you're forced into a physical confrontation. You'll be ready, because you prepared for it.
Stay sexy my friends!
